Gov. Ron DeSantis to Newsmax: Forget Trump Ticket, I'm 'an Executive Guy'

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is not making any presidential campaign announcements before the end of his state's legislative session, but he is sure talking like he will be throwing his hat in the 2024 GOP presidential primary race.

And, he told Newsmax in an exclusive interview Thursday night, you can forget about him working with former President Donald Trump.

"I think I'm probably more of an executive guy," DeSantis told "Eric Bolling The Balance." "I think that you want to be able to do things. That's part of the reason I got into this job is because we have action.

"We're able to make things happen, and I think that's probably what I am best suited for."

Host Eric Bolling asked, since DeSantis has yet to announce — current Florida law would force him to step down as governor if he did — would he entertain an invitation from a prospective GOP-nominee Trump to be his vice president?

He laughed it off with the response above.

That photo makes DeSantis look like he is getting fitted for a coffin. What a stiff, and what’s with the high water pants?

There is no one on the world stage like Donald Trump. He is fearless. Russia would never have attacked Ukraine if Trump were president. Trump would have told Zelenskyy that Ukraine was NOT going to join NATO because NATO was going to be dismantled.

USA and Russia would have had a respectable partnership in world affairs. Now the Deep State, run by Golden Calf JINO’s, are trying to start WW3.

I am worried about Trump’s age and what the CIA will do to him if he gets too close to winning back the presidency. The American citizens no longer elect their leaders. Consent of the governed is a lie. The entire federal bureaucracy needs to be destroyed and burned to cinders. It seems that is the direction we are headed, with mushroom clouds in our future.

By the way, many republican governors are passing the same legislation as FL because they have Republican legislators doing the work….just like FL. Check out Ohio passing the same laws with a RINO governor……but DeWine isn’t a shiny new toy…..or the chosen one to take out Trump (and ultimately MAGA).

DeSantis followers will be very disappointed at his performance once he hits the microphone….and his presidential ambitions won’t happen in 2028 because of his exposure in 2024. Sad really. He would have taken 2028 with little effort or exposure……he killed that opportunity because of ego and GOPe urging. Sad.

PS. If you think their isn’t dirt on DeSantis……well you’re not rational or paying attention. It is ready and waiting for every candidate except Trump, he’s had a full colonoscopy for 7 years by every demon in every government agency. There are no bombs left. Only point I disagree with is about his rallies. He'll have people there, but they won't look like Trump rallies, no matter how many people they pay or force to be there. They'll look more like that gathering of feds in their "casual" clothes preparing to infiltrate a pro-MAGA rally.

Another big mistake when a candidate tries to compare himself with Reagan. This is a GOPe tactic and it usually backfires.
