Being unclear and making these kinds of ambiguous statements just invites our unprofessional and biased media to spin stuff their OWN way.

I agree. The number one rule in US politics today is an unfortunate one: It is not a level playing field. A Democrat can say and do the most outrageous things, and it’s not reported. But any vague thing any Republican might say is blown way out of proportion.
This is, of course, no way fair. But it’s also the current reality. Republicans need to be bold. But they also need to be clever. It’s a tough needle to thread, but it must be done if we are to win the propaganda war.
I do not blame Trump for being mad. He has a right to be angry. Even Jesus flipped over the tables of the money lenders at the Temple—and he was the Prince of Peace! No, if the corruptiocrats arrest Trump if means America is OVER. We have become the People’s Republic of Amerika. The ball is in our court. I suspect his delivery is "perfect". He is using psychological warfare with these people. He knows how they will react, and he tweaks his delivery to get the reaction he desires.
