The 17-year-old suspect being sought in connection with Wednesday’s Denver East High School shooting was found dead near Bailey, Colorado.
Breitbart News reported that two school staff members were shot at East High School Wednesday morning and that the alleged gunman, a student, fled the scene before he could be apprehended by police.
The Denver Police Department sought the public’s help in finding the suspect, releasing a photo of the suspect and his vehicle:

Isn’t one of the basic rules of searching people for weapons to be prepared to actually deal with someone with a weapon?
Hopefully it was suicide regardless if there were 50 or so self inflicted gun shots.

Yes, it would seem to be a bad idea to be unarmed while frisking someone for concealed weapons.
One would think that would be obvious, but I guess not.

If all criminals were to off themselves it would be a good thing. Of course the we’d never learn WHY they committed the crime but then, who cares?
Give criminals a CHOICE. Equip each single occupant holding cell with a length of rope, a tie off point and a step stool; save a ton of money on trials and incarceration.
