Baybrook Mall in Webster Texas is still thriving. Lots of growth in satellite stores in and around there. Then again this is in Texas.
Malls are closing in Texas too - they won’t ever go away entirely, just will be fewer of them.

As is ever mall we’ve driven by, in surrounding areas.
Glad to hear Webster, TX is still a nice, mall supporting community.
We took a friend to a suburban (Houston) mall, last year, and, we couldn’t get out of there, soon enough.
That was the first time we’d even been to a mall, (other than the trip to Galleria) in years....and, last, most likely.
