The conspiacy theorist in me says they are doing this not for Gays and AIDS.The immune system damage and neural degeneration caused by SARS-CoV-2 infections is similar to HIV and Truvada measurably helps. The mechanisms are similar. I suspect the gay lobby is the primary intended beneficiary. It is a convenient coincidence that it helps COVID victims.
