I hope so!!! Winds up that he likely has the best instincts for that job.

I’m beginning to think that too. Rand Paul is good on a lot of things. His father was a little over the top, but he’s not his father.
I live in FLorida and DeSantis has been great, especially at resisting the woke and LGBTQRSTUV agenda, protecting the rights of parents, and fighting back against the shutdown and vax mandates (heavily promoted and imposed by our many Dem and RINO mayors, who have a lot of power under FLorida law).
But I really don’t want us to go to a fake but destructive war over a miserable little Dem client state or continue with our wacko financial and fiscal policies, so Rand Paul seems to have a lot going for him.
