Trump was one of many developers in NYC. He's the one who rose to a national figure by embracing the mantra 'write anything you want as long you spell my name right'. He courted any press, good or bad. And build brand as a guy people loved or hated but everyone knew who he was and had an opinion and that's what he wanted.

He still operates that way. Bad press coverage is .... press coverage.

I think, however, that some things maybe need a little more consideration.
