Perhaps - in Africa there is still a lot of religious feeling.
Yet in Estonia etc. there is high atheism, leftish academia etc.
Estonia /\ Estonia and the other x east block countries still have a strong memory of life under communism and recognize Communist dogma a mile off Academia and media would be chased out of the public/ social square in a heartbeat. America has no such immunity to Communist delusions and insanity. That's the difference imho.
