In late August of 2021, Minneapolis police responded to a shooting along I-94, where they found a BMW sedan that had crashed into a freeway median. Slumped behind the steering wheel was 38-year-old Luis Damian Martinez Ortiz, who’d suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the chest.
After reviewing surveillance footage, police arrested George Howard, then 47, who’d gotten into an alleged road-rage altercation with Ortiz on a freeway onramp, according to court documents. Howard, whose trial is slated for April, stands accused of second-degree murder; his attorney says he was acting in self-defense.
Days after his arrest, local crime bloggers and rightwing media pounced on a discovery. Three weeks prior to the shooting, Howard – who had a lengthy rap sheet and a history of violence – had been bailed out of jail while awaiting trial on a misdemeanor domestic-assault charge.

The drugs in his system combined with whatever he had and he drowned in his own lungs.
He was already dying when the cops rolled up and them placing him on his stomach was correct for breathing distress and restraining him necessary because they were apparently taught to doubt claims of being unable to breath.
There seems to have been a point just before he died that Floyd realized what was really happening to him and he said to tell his family that he had loved them.
As with Rodney King (where they looped the tape) the media intentionally presented the story to create furor because riots mean ratings. People died and black owned businesses destroyed for those ratings and the pout-rage of black celebrities and Democrats. Why would they care, when do they have to later live in the communities that rioting idiots tear apart?
I think their intentions are not good to begin with. This is about nothing less that freeing people who actually did it, not those wrongly convicted.
Start committing crimes against those who work on these bail projects to get a quick end to their bail projects.
George Floyd was not murdered. He died of a drug overdose.
The court that convicted Derick Chauvin is a liar.
