Fourteen years ago, Brenda Rivera sent a text to what she thought was the number of a new friend. The message was Philippians 2:3:
"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves."
A few minutes later, the number replied,
Amen to that. Who is this?

The picture of the family is simply beautiful! What a Blessed family indeed!
Bkmk
Yes indeed.
Cool!
The perceptive mother got 6 grandchildren out of the deal! :)
That’s the tag line on my emails, both personal and business.
I’m a Construction Safety Manager and this is a concept that I preach and demonstrate constantly.
Selflessness is a revolutionary concept, especially to Latinos.
Lovely! Thanks for posting that!
Such a good idea to take her mom out to lunch!

Just think how so many of us in our 40s, 50s, and 60s (and beyond) were raised when it comes to how to interact with others. Just a short few years ago, I assumed everyone was as courteous as myself when dealing with both family, friends, and strangers.
It is so disheartening to learn that I have to have “my head on a swivel” when doing such a simple thing as going to the grocery store, pumping gas, or going to a restaurant. Not to mention being careful not to tick off someone in traffic. How did our nation fall into such a state so quickly? (I know, I know! Most of you do as well—but it is still disheartening!)
Nice story. However, I’m just so over these IG journalists and their well-rehearsed skits, dances, re-enactments, etc. It must feel like work to the kids and hubby. I know a girl who had identical triplets via IVF and posts content almost daily “for her fans,” but her husband is sick to death of it and now it’s causing problems in their marriage. Just live your freaking lives, ppl!
That was nice. See? A Hallmark style live story can happen at any time of the year, not only during Christmas!

We found the party-pooper in our “feel good” story of the day! There always has to be one! LOL
Bump
God can work in mysterious ways
Amen hope our SOS sign is noticed.
Way Cool. Thanks.
