I know people here who spent 20 years with DU in the Army. It's as toxic as any other heavy metal like lead or tin or even the explosive residue from shells. That's it.

While my main point was that DU is not fissile, and hence not nuclear, its long half-life combined with low amounts of U-234 and U-235 actually make it less toxic and only weakly radioactive. Like many other US military personnel, I worked with DU rounds when I was in the Army. There have been no adverse affects.

try reading it again. Putin is not the one using depleted uranium. The western leaders are the ones using Ukraine’s people as pawns in their war for globohomo MIC. Peace on acceptable terms is very possible, if the globohomo MIC was willing, but they are not. So millions of ukrainians must pay the price for globohomo.
