Not just the data error with the DMV. I’m having trouble with the punishment being 11 months in prison for driving with a suspended license. Is there more to this case than just the bad data record saying he was driving with a suspended license?
Well, he’s owed about 10 million dollars.
My Oregon is gone. It’s hell in this state. They won’t lock up murderers or dare jail an illegal alien.

I had to deal with a ticket (I paid for) issued in Washington state while on active duty there. Two years later I’m in Florida WITH an in state florida drivers license AND my original Massachusetts drivers license got pulled over officer says my drivers license is suspended from Washington...took years to straighten out ...do you think I drove ( had to in order to exist,no one pays my way. I do not consider driving to be a privilege.
Never plead out if you’re not guilty.

This is typical government.
Similar situations have happened to me in Minnesota.
Arrested once, but both times the state recognized that it was because the database wasn’t updated.

vEen as insane as Oregon is, why is merely driving on an actual suspended license a prison serving offense? (unless there is a whole lot more to the story).
And why would the guy plead guilty when he is the victim of a bureaupathic error? (unless there is a lot more to the story.)

Prison space is very limited in Oregon. They only have room for those with traffic citations.
They didn’t bother to find out why he pleaded guilty?
I think he’s screwed because he pleaded guilty. pleading guilty when your not is perjury.

“Rose City,” local breweries, end if the trail of discovery, (Astoria) Lewis and Clark history. A nice place to visit.

If the victim was a registered Democrat lefty, I honestly no longer care. Let them suffer with the rest of us normal people who do not worship the government they have unleashed upon us.
