Prison space is very limited in Oregon. They only have room for those with traffic citations.

They didn’t bother to find out why he pleaded guilty?

“Why would any conservative (still) live in Oregon?”
Nobody wants to, they are all trying to become Idaho citizens.
No sensible person wants to live with Liberals.

Funny...but I’m in Oregon. I could go to the DMV in my town, take a number, drive to a town about 15 miles away, walk into DMV, maybe have two people behind the counter to serve only me, drive back to town, and probably go into DMV before they called my number. Usually a bunch of Mexicans at the local office.

“Why would any conservative (still) live in Oregon?”

Because they are hoping and praying that they will soon be living in Greater Idaho.

He was probably threatened into pleading guilty by the court-appointed attorney. And then he was probably told he would get a light penalty if he did.

I will never go to Oregon again.
Daughter lived there for four years....
I had been to Portland a few time on business, in the late 70’s.
“Rose City,” local breweries, end if the trail of discovery, (Astoria) Lewis and Clark history. A nice place to visit.

Early 2000’s, drug addled bums stumbling on the streets wearing tie-dyed T-shirts and long pony tails. “Effin Drugs!” Eat it Portland, you are done....

Now, Antifa, BLM, lousy mayor? No way will I ever visit....again.

I agree, but it’s still perjury. Don’t get me started on plea deals...

“...he’s owed about 10 million dollars.”
.

Really.
How much is a year of your life worth?”

Not the issue. Someone needs to be punished. Ideally, this would come out of the government workers pockets, but I would settle for hitting taxpayers for it, to punish them for having a poor government.

All of the above lies are probably perfectly legal.

If the victim was a registered Democrat lefty, I honestly no longer care. Let them suffer with the rest of us normal people who do not worship the government they have unleashed upon us.

If he was a normal person, then yes, I care. But people who want to put me in a “reeducation camp”? Nope

So.....how much in damages is the state going to have to cough up to this poor schlub?

How much would they have to pay you to spend a year in the Klink, lose your job and miss the birth of one of your kids?

Lazy ass government employees fail again. Of course there are zero consequences for them.

That happened to me too. Simple ticket for not getting my snow tires off timely. Paid by mail. They failed to record the payment but cashed my check. Notified my home state of Oregon who promptly suspended my licensce. Neither state notified me. 5 years later I get pulled over for failing to signal a lane change (basically bogus because it was night and I was literally the only vehicle on the road).

Later, when I bring the photocopy of the canceled check to DMV to prove I had paid the fine, I asked why I wasn’t notified and they said they didn’t have my address. Um, hello, it’s on the freaking license!

Government workers are stupid, lazy assholes who know they can’t be fired.
