The Donald needs to play the part: It's important to take a cold, hard look at why Trump lost in 2020, and why he'll probably lose in 2024 if he continues on his current path

First, I must state that I am not, have never been, and will never be a NeverTrump. I voted for the man twice and will gladly do so again if he wins the nomination. I'd like to see him in the Oval Office again because I believe it to be important for the soul of our country.

We need to show the conspirators who attempted to destroy his presidency that we will not stand for a coup of a duly elected administration. The Democrats and the Deep State used a hoax and a sham investigation in an attempt to prevent Trump's election, and then take down his presidency after elected. Their attempt to interfere in the peaceful transfer of power — beginning in 2015 and continuing through 2020 — must be met with consequences. A re-election of Donald Trump would signal their failure and the commencement of consequences — as delivered by a president who will never run for election again.

Having said all of that, it's important to take a cold, hard look at why Trump lost in 2020, and why he'll probably lose in 2024 if he continues on his current path. There's plenty of time for a course correction. However, it does require a correction — a change.

I don't believe for a nanosecond that "Dementia" Joe actually got 81 million votes with a basement campaign. Unfortunately, the election was close enough to be stolen — and it probably was, with unconstitutional rules changes and questionable ballot-harvesting.

Being able to move ballots once, if not twice, without tallying, IS fraud.

Voter fraud is the reason he lost. Unless that issue is dealt with no Republican willing to take on the uniparty establishment will ever win again.

Trump won 18 of 19 bellwether counties that had voted with winner since 1980. Anyone believing he lost legitimately is a moron or liar.

Many believe this, and, whether true or not, enough believe it so that Trump would do well to modulate his approach to be more a happy warrior than an angry warrior -- especially as to his GOP rivals.

More broadly, such a shift would also permit Trump to develop a useful contrast with Biden's frequent nastiness. And, as with FDR during the Depression, it would fit with the public mood in looking for relief and hope during grim economic times.

Such a change in manner though would not prevent Trump from sticking it to his opponents. Far from it, but instead of using a machine gun and shouting a war cry, Trump should do it with a rapier, a witty comment, and a chuckle. In other words, Trump should model himself more on Bruce Willis than Mel Gibson.

I think we need to face the truth. Most people are propagandized. We do not live in a nation that is for the most part MAGA. I am not seeing or witnessing people changing their minds now and wanting to vote Republican due to inflation etc. My friends who have liberal family members are not seeing them changing their minds at all.

My son told me right before the election that what he saw where he worked.....most by far, of his coworkers hated Trump. He said that I was surrounded by conservatives and not seeing it realisitically.

When I go to Walmart and look around....I’m not betting most of the people there are Conservative.

Yes, there was fraud. But I agree with the author. If the numbers were bigger the fraud would fail.

I work the polls. I came home election night without great expectations. I did not get the feeling that there was a great wave for Trump at all. It wasn’t what I expected. My optimism was not fed by what I saw or heard.

Trump got 12 million more votes the second time (and it wasn’t due to mail in ballots as he apparently got 0 of those). Obama, a very popular President, two terms, 54%, didn’t have that kind of an increase. I believe his number decreased. Clinton, either Bush didn’t have that kind of increase. The difference is that they changed the voting rules so that’s Biden didn’t have to convince anyone to vote for him. They knew he was going to have a huge number that’s why they set the “COVID Rules” in place. If the country were a rule based nation Trump would be wrapping up his second term

Given what we saw election night, the blink of an eye vote changes at 3 am, almost all dumping for Biden, sometimes subtracting votes from Trumps total, acros 8-9 states

It wasn’t as close as the article makes it out to be.

In 2016, he had a primary and surrounded himself with killers. In 2020 he had no primary, hung out at Mar-A-Lago and surrounded himself with his idiot kids and assorted ass kissers.
