The Donald needs to play the part: It's important to take a cold, hard look at why Trump lost in 2020, and why he'll probably lose in 2024 if he continues on his current path

First, I must state that I am not, have never been, and will never be a NeverTrump. I voted for the man twice and will gladly do so again if he wins the nomination. I'd like to see him in the Oval Office again because I believe it to be important for the soul of our country.

We need to show the conspirators who attempted to destroy his presidency that we will not stand for a coup of a duly elected administration. The Democrats and the Deep State used a hoax and a sham investigation in an attempt to prevent Trump's election, and then take down his presidency after elected. Their attempt to interfere in the peaceful transfer of power — beginning in 2015 and continuing through 2020 — must be met with consequences. A re-election of Donald Trump would signal their failure and the commencement of consequences — as delivered by a president who will never run for election again.

Having said all of that, it's important to take a cold, hard look at why Trump lost in 2020, and why he'll probably lose in 2024 if he continues on his current path. There's plenty of time for a course correction. However, it does require a correction — a change.

I don't believe for a nanosecond that "Dementia" Joe actually got 81 million votes with a basement campaign. Unfortunately, the election was close enough to be stolen — and it probably was, with unconstitutional rules changes and questionable ballot-harvesting.

Author states that he believes that :

The 2020 election was close because people were tired of Trump's behavior. The electorate loved his policies, but they didn't like his childishness. The bragging, name-calling, and needless picking of fights became tiring.

Donald Trump is not in office now because he, and he alone, allowed the election to be close enough to be stolen. He didn't have the self-control necessary to run a disciplined campaign and win over large swaths of the electorate.

Recent events would indicate that he hasn't developed any additional self-control or tactical savvy in the last two years.

Nah, the reason is that mail in votes are fraud detection proof once they leave the envelope.

The sheep generally do not like the sheepdog. He looks a lot like the wolf. He has fangs and the capacity for violence. The difference, though, is that the sheepdog must not, can not and will not ever harm the sheep. Any sheep dog who intentionally harms the lowliest little lamb will be punished and removed. The world cannot work any other way, at least not in a representative democracy or a republic such as ours.

Still, the sheepdog disturbs the sheep. He is a constant reminder that there are wolves in the land. They would prefer that he didn’t tell them where to go, or give them traffic tickets, or stand at the ready in our airports in camouflage fatigues holding an M-16. The sheep would much rather have the sheepdog cash in his fangs, spray paint himself white, and go, “Baa.”

Sheep can’t distinguish between a wolf and a sheepdog.

“Donald Trump is not in office now because he, and he alone, allowed the election to be close enough to be stolen.”

That’s what a lot of people say. They’re completely ignorant of facts, whatever American Thinker allows it’s writers to blab about

And it’s comedy.

As if the democrats are going to quit counting in Atlanta, Detroit or Phoenix after two weeks and say, you know it was a 75 Trump to 25 Biden race. At least. I think we should quit.

It’s comedy.

You can thank Trump for ceding authority to Birx and Fauci for allowing the COVID farce to spin out of control... which led to mail in voting.

Nah, the reason is that mail in votes are fraud detection proof once they leave the envelope.

And they are an open invitation to have 'millions' of said absentee ballots on hand to be used 'in case of need'. I.e., 'Trump is winning. Shutdown the counting, and lets produce some more ballots for the other guy'...

The voting process is pretty futile as long as we allow a massive number of absentee ballots to be used. Personally I'd disallow any absentee ballots. Sure, some good guys (legal citizens) would not be able to vote - but the downside is much greater (many non-citizens, and non existent living people, 'voting')...

The truth is the Donald Trump didn't lose the election. He won the election but the Democrats stole it and the Courts wouldn't do anything about it. Kari Lake's "loss" was a repeat of the same in 2022.

But all of this is academic. None of this matters unless and until systemic election fraud by the Democrats is ended. But that won't end because the Democrats have a lock on ballot harvesting and things will only get worse as the Democrats opened the flood gates at our southern border and are importing millions of New Democrat voters.

We have to admit that it's over. Let's wrap our minds around that. The USA as it was constituted 1865 - present is done and it ain't coming back.

Marjorie Taylor Green is right. We must split this up. And the Democrats, like all parasites, will resist being cut off by their hosts (us).

I predict bad times coming fast.

This is all bunk.

Trump didn’t lose. He won by huge margins.

Lotsa folks here keep all the charts: up 700,000 or 500,000 at 11 PM, down by 50,000 the next morning at 6 AM.

BS. NOTHING like that ever happens.

It’s the most blatant theft of an American election in my lifetime.

It was 75 to 25. Higher than before. His support has not waivered. There’s not even a democrat candidate. DeSantis is at 25

What do you think a better Marin of error is than a 50 point spread? 60? You want Trump to. It be Trump, lose 50% of his supporters who want him to be Trump to gain what?

Fox has trump at 40% Vs DeSantis in the 20% range with women

What are your number?

What do you want him to do exactly?

All that stuff about no chain of custody, ballot drop boxes, universal mail in balloting, and month long elections had nothing to do with it.
