According to a recent New York Times report, the Republican National Committee (RNC) is actively in talks with left-leaning networks like CNN, CBS, and NBC as prospective sponsors for its 2024 presidential primary debates.
Could the RNC possibly be more out of touch with its voters?
“In an intriguing show of détente, the Republican National Committee has asked several major TV networks—including CNN, a regular Republican boogeyman—to consider sponsoring debates,” the report states. “Party officials are also in talks with executives from ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox News.”
Those same networks’ handling of the Republican primary debates for the 2016 cycle should disqualify them from consideration this time around. During the October 2015 debate, then-presidential candidate Ted Cruz famously channeled Americans’ frustration with the glaring biases of the mainstream media. “You know, let me say something at the outset. The questions that have been asked so far in this debate illustrate why the American people don’t trust the media,” Cruz said in a perfect distillation of conservatives’ exasperation toward the increasingly activist media complex.

With that in mind, it stands to reason the RNC “flirting” for primary debates with the eneMedia.

Yup. and she also wants to make sure that all Republican candidates sign a pledge to accept the results of the Republican primary process and not run as a third party in return for the privilege of getting bush whacked by the Leftist media running the “debates”.
All aimed a screwing Trump.
And Trump supported her for head of RNC
The RNC is the “Deep State wing” of the Democrat Party. One time it actually meant something. Trump will host his own program in the same time slot as the debate and watch the numbers. He won’t participate.
They already did. What’s the news here?

The moderators will continue to ask questions from a left-wing point of view. They will be hostile debates intended to trap the Republican candidates with campaign ending sound bites.
All Republican voters will be disenfranchised. Issues like election integrity, the 2nd Amendment and freedom of religion will not be addressed.
We deserve better.
OH good. Now the Republican candidate will not only have to debate his Democrat opponent but the commie moderator as well.
I suspect they’ll also give a list of the debate topics and questions to the Democrat candidate before the circus begins.

But there’s no other way for the uniparty.
Why must it be all or nothing? Why not split it? Have four debates, two moderated by the MSM communists and two moderated by freedom-loving Americans?

We require that election inspectors be split evenly between both parties. The “debates” are just part of the election process. So there should be an even split of moderators there, as well.
The Republican party sucks at politics. They are clueless on election security, and are unable to produce an effective narrative, even when the Pedo-President promotes child mutilation and grooming. If that’s not enough he does nothing to secure the border which results in 100,000 fentanyl death/year. There are many other examples. How the Repub party wins any elections at all is a mystery.
These communist show trials/debates are always sickening. No GOP candidates should ever again participate in one of these clown excursions.
Maybe they can line up Whoopi Cushion, Joy Behar and their boy Sonny Hostin as “moderators”.
Ronna Romney and Mitch are pulling the strings in favor of the Fake News apparatus.
