U.S. productivity & capability are declining fast. Our strength is the only thing keeping us afloat. We have trouble even finding people who are candidates who are acceptable for the military. The small pool who are suitable, are competition for all military branches from which to recruit from. In addition, many do not want to serve in this woke administration that views serving this country in the military, is for losers. Biden is hollowing out our military that we currently have, with vaccine mandates for military personnel, as well as, hunting down conservative military members who are conservative that they deem are a threat.

We have idiots running this nation, our institutions, our schools, which is why so many banks are failing. Our future, and our way of life are being destroyed. Crime is so rampant, as is corruption, that's this nation is rapidly becoming a shithole third world banana republic. A large portion of this nation is addicted to drugs, both prescription & illegal. Morals have eroded, and the Lord cast as a disparaging entity

You are naïve if you think our economy isn't teetering on the brink of collapse. In addition, Biden keeps removing the life blood of this nation, energy, which only exacerbates the situation..

Perception goes a long way, the hegemony we lord over others certainly is running thin with many nations, friend & foe, that they are starting to see us as the problem, not the solution.

Perhaps it's your analysis that is shallow, that allows you to believe we are too big to fail. In fact, it's usually that very reason that many superpowers have fallen through history, proving that there is no such thing as too big to fail.

We are certainly not “too big to fail”, but, I’ve been hearing and reading these predictions of imminent total collapse (or at least something considerably worse than the great depression) for at least 50 years. (Before that, it was usually more simply getting nuked.)

If I walk around in Wal-Mart - yeah, lots of overweight under 30 y/o’s. But at my daughter’s high school (I had a kid late), and at our local colleges, most of the kids, esp. the guys, are in reasonable shape. We’ve had problem recruiting periods before. Know what will help most? Get back to espousing a correct positive view of our country, overall, people just like you as much as teachers and profs.

Besides, while there are risks to it, AI & robotics are probably going to take over a lot of the manpower requirements for the military in coming decades.

Compared to recent decades, we do not have “so many” banks failing. Get back to us when something akin to 2008 (which we survived!) has happened.

And so on and on and on.

Do we need to get cracking on getting the problems you mention turned around? Absolutely. We need resilience against a large disaster, if nothing else. But, is the sky falling? No.

If we believe the cause is already lost, well then, yes, in 50 years or so we will likely be in deep trouble.

I’m not putting up a white flag. YMMV.

We are certainly not “too big to fail”, but, I’ve been hearing and reading these predictions of imminent total collapse (or at least something considerably worse than the great depression) for at least 50 years.

Well, the roaring 20s lead to the great depression because the stock market overheated creating an unstainable growth expectation. There were warning signs, but they were ignored. when the bubble burst. The devastation was immediate and drastic.

Loose money, low interest rates, bad lending practices almost always spell future trouble for a nation practicing that kind of financial economy.

In 1929 we were not the world's currency, money was very loose and loans were relatively easy to obtain. When the bubble finally burst, we were saddled with high unemployment, spending slowed down drastically, which of course exacerbates the problems & prolongs the recovery.

When WWII came along it helped to rev up the country because we had factories & mills that could quickly be refitted to accommodate the need to gear up for war.

In 1973, we all faced the oil embargo by OPEC nations for the assistance we provided Israel during the Arab-Israeli war. OPEC used that leverage to receive a better deal at the bargaining table. But it also showed a weakness in America. Their strength required access to oil, without access America could be brought to her knees.

In 2008, we had a similar problem, but this time the loose money came from, bad lending practices for home purchases. Many of those loans were made to people who were bad credit risks for overpriced houses. Banks would bundle these high risk loans into packages and sell them to investors. The debt was now $10,025 billion in debt with 66% of DEBT-TO-GDP ratio. When it finally came time to deal with the collapse, what they did was bail out the investors, and saddled that debt upon us the tax payers.

Now, fast forward to today. We do not have factories & mills that we can quickly refit when we need that capability. We had finally become oil self sufficient thanks to Trump's policies, and which Biden took from this nation because of his policies. In 1929 this nation was 17 billion dollars in debt, but that was only 16% of DEBT-TO-GDP ratio. At the end of 2022 we were 30,824 billion (30.8 trillion) in debt for 123% of DEBT-TO-GDP ratio. Do you see a troubling pattern developing here, that keeps reoccurring? Think these monetary repeating issues, are what has created the ever widening gap between the wealthy, and speeding the erosion of the once strong middle-class.

Well, now they are again bailing out the wealthy and placing more debt yet again, upon the middle-class. In December they did a test run with CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency) that will be used to further control the masses abilities. If they don't like you or your social credit score, then they will just bankrupt you overnight.

So, when you look at what they have in store for us, because they don't need us any longer, as you have eluded to with your robotic brave new world. so, what do you believe is the appropriate steps to tale to achieve resilience? Do you think we might be headed towards something worse than the Great Depression?

They manufactured a bioweapon, that wasn't as bad as the hysteria they whipped it up to be, in order for them to introduce a second far more deadly bioweapon with the so-called "vaccines". They got patents for these "vaccines" back in 2015, I might add.

Since these" vaccines" were so vastly different from past vaccines they had to actually change the definition of vaccine for them to even be considered a vaccine at all. This was after they were rolled out, by the way They also were not safe or effective as they were being promoted as being. There was a reason they wanted to wait 75 years before they released the study results. It's because they showed that the "vaccines" were not only not safe, but their efficacy waned considerably with each ensuing dosage received by an individual. Ensuring that people would become even more susceptible to being infected by each new strain of the virus.

While the military may at some point in time be staffed with combat troops, it's not the reality yet. So, what the future may or may not become, we have to find men & women willingly to serve their nation in the military for now. To do so, they have to keep lowering the quality of soldier they take in.

If you think I am raising up a white flag, and proclaiming that my milage might vary, you are dead wrong.

I'm saying that Ukraine is not worth it, our country is worth it. Quit being distracted by what the crooks & criminals operating as our leaders via a stolen election want to distract you with. Because we are in WWIII, however, our leadership is not leadership that is rooting for this nation. They are in fact trying to destroy this nation. Because this nation stands it the way of the desires of the world's elites, who have no respect for this country or her citizens, yet you believe they care about Ukraine & her citizens.

My question to you is, how could a person be so gullible to actually believe the narrative they are selling about Ukraine, while you see total disregard for this nation & her citizens? You actually do see the latter as it pertains to this country, don't you?

What I can see, is that you have no clue as to how this nation is on the precipice, and that if you continue down the path you are currently going down, this nation will be lost.

Wake up while there is still time. we outnumber them. Let's use that advantage.
