DONETSK OBLAST – Just days before heading back to fight in the Battle of Bakhmut, a Ukrainian soldier Volodymyr, 54, said he felt ill-prepared.

"When they drive us to Bakhmut, I already know I'm being sent to death," Volodymyr told the Kyiv Independent during his brief stay in Kramatorsk, a city in Donetsk Oblast some 25 kilometers west of the front line.

Volodymyr, an infantryman from the 93rd Mechanized Brigade, said he struggled to eat after fighting in Bakhmut for months. He looked shaken as he talked.

From a western news agency! Their gig is up. They are starting to buckle on the collective West’s narrative. Joe’s war cheerleaders crumbling.

Of course, if one read anything at all from NON western MSM, you would already know the Ukies are getting reduced at horrifying numbers. War cheerleaders- reality always has a way of winning.

Vlad holds all the cards for many reasons, get used to it….your hangover will be much less painful.Long overdue for cries of Peace.

So is Ukraine still winning thanks to 100 billion of U.S. taxpayer funds?

Seven months and over 30,000 dead Russians around Bakhmut alone, and the Russians still haven't taken it.

Don’t worry US politicians will deliver hundreds of billions more to Ukraine and Ukraine will only have to give back 25% in the briefcases that the politicians will go over there to get. I wish we could see the difference between the luggage that people like Janet Yellen take and bring back.

Look like the Russians have pushed themselves into a very vulnerable salient north of Bakhmut.

When the ground thaws and everything turns to mud in a couple of weeks that might not be a fun place to be for the Russians.

Yeah but if the ukrainians lost 10,000 to russia’s 30,000 men —then its still a win for the Russians in a war of attrition.

Not to worry.

George Soros has vowed to fight Russia to the last Ukrainian life.

Unless Ukraine can inflict 10 to 1 casualty ratio they lose.

Western propaganda can only carry things so far, but now that reality is setting in they are being forced to adjust the narrative.

Sadly, I would not be surprised if Russia takes it. Go look at a pre 1931 map of Europe. Poland, who is arming up will probably take the rest.

The Biden family charades are done.

Remember this is yahoo....just another paid for price of trash news...

Ukraine is sitting on a mountain of US cash and a river of US weapons are flowing into the country.

Russia is on defensive here, just burning through troops, until Spring.

Technically it is - it’s no longer convertible since March last year. Russia initially announced that they will return rouble to convertibility in Sep 2022, but never did and there no longer is any estimated date.

To calculate by prices of the same exact goods abroad and in Russia it’s between 200 and 300 roubles for $1 would be exchange rate if free market restored.

Still, Russia cannot win this war, because the stakes are too high for countries in Europe and the U.S, where Biden cannot afford a second Afghanistan; but in reality, a much bigger loss than Afghanistan.

So, whatever victory or victories the Russians get (if at all) will only be temporary and they’ll either lose of have to pull back on their own.

“Unless Ukraine can inflict 10 to 1 casualty ratio they lose.”

How do you figure? Pre-war Ukrainian population: 42 million; pre-war Russian population: 144 million. So, that’s roughly 3.5 : 1 in favor of Russia. And, their respective combatants would generally reflect the same ratio. A basic rule of thumb is that attackers generally lose more than defenders.
So, how in the hell do you come up with a 10 : 1 ratio?

I just find all your aggressive fronting for Vlad to be offensive.

Why don’t you speak up for dear old Adolf while you’re at it?

As for Bachmut, it’s a war.

Sure has taken “Vlad” a long time (like a year) to win this little town and he hasn’t yet.

“couple of weeks”? Wow, you need to work on your situational awareness.
