Yes it does seem sometimes, that there are purity tests.
A problem arises, when we are evaluating who to vote for.
Because no mortal man or mortal woman is going to pass every single purity test that we might apply to their positions on the issues.

and by purity, it is increasingly whatever dribbles out of Donald Trump’s mouth. If it happens to be a conservative thought it is lauded. If it strays a bit, it is 4-D Backgammon to attack the Swamp. If Trump didn't consider DeSantis a political competitor, DeSantis would be considered a hero by all the conservatives on FreeRepublic. He's the best governor in the United States. I'm going to vote for Trump in the primary because I think he deserves his stolen second term, but I think his attack on DeSantis represents one of his character flaws (of which, there are several).
