Require all Government employees, Local, State, and Federal to use the BART to go to and from work. After all, it’s a Green thing and will save the world.
I lived in the Bay Area of CA when BART was built. BART destroyed miles of lovely neighborhoods and houses in Oakland. The government bought and destroyed those houses, forcing the former residents farther out into the suburbs where they would be dependent on BART to get to their jobs. Now that many people are telecomputing to work, what did they expect?
