Former Vice President Mike Pence slammed the Biden administration for what he called a “bailout” of the failed Silicon Valley Bank, arguing that it is “disingenuous” for federal officials to suggest that Americans will not pay for backstopping depositors.
“President Biden says taxpayers won’t pay for the bailout, but that is disingenuous – every American with a bank account will pay higher fees to replenish the billions spent by the (Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation) FDIC to backstop failing banks,” Pence said in an op-ed for the Daily Mail.

It’s disingenuous for Pence to claim President Trump endangered his family on January 6th. Didn’t he and his family have secret service protection until January 20th? And if Pence’s family was endangered as he claims, by Trump’s actions that day, then wouldn’t President Trump’s family also been endangered on January 6th? What an a-hole Pence is.

Pence is trash. He finally tells the truth. Yet, it is about

The cost is probably not that high - maybe $10 billion total for SVB and Signature. The FDIC has about $125 billion available, so they probably won’t raise insurance fees to banks, but just collect the same amount as they’ve been collecting all along.
