The DeSantis administration is revoking the Hyatt Regency Miami's alcohol license after one of its facilities hosted "A Drag Queen Christmas" with minors present in the audience.
According to the complaint, "A Drag Queen Christmas" updated its advertising to say that the show contained "adult content" and was recommended for people 18 and up, unless accompanied by an adult.
The Department of Business and Professional Regulation filed a 17-page complaint Tuesday against the show's venue, the James L. Knight Center, which is affiliated with Hyatt. The department said performers were "wearing sexually suggesting clothing and prosthetic female genitalia," as well as simulating masturbation.

It’s the only explanation for the sudden “drag queen story hour” and all the other events to suddenly spring up, all over the country, at the same time.

Unless a specific law was violated, Hyatt is a private business and can host these perverts as they choose.

I'd like to think there's a law against hosting shows where alcohol is served, with sexual/sexually suggestive performers and performances, where children are allowed to be present.

I would think that a liquor license is a privilege. If the state wants to take it away, I think they can.

Specific state laws regarding lewd activities and minors under 16 were, in fact, violated. And Hyatt was warned, beforehand, they would be in violation.

Florida probably has laws barring minors from sexually explicit events.

Who attends such events? Transvestites and transexuals probably make up a fraction of a percent of the population. One would think that the appeal of transvestite shows would be so limited as to make them unprofitable.
Not sure about the legality of this… though generally adult entertainment is not allowed unless licensed for it…
