I have recently counseled my nephews and their friends against joining the Army. These are good American, suburban/rural boys who would, in a previous America, have been great candidates - but NOT under the double threat of woke/racial/sexual politics, combined with insane neocons in Washington DC
And it’s not just Biden. It’s the Deep State (D and R) in general. After 9/11, some kid signs up to defend his country, maybe like his grandfather did in WW II.
The next thing you know, George W. Bush has that kid trying to clear some damn house in Iraq. And he gets all shot up. For what? For nothing. He’s just a casualty of another worthless foreign adventure.
We will probably see repeats of this. So who would want to sign up today?

Personally, if the military had been the carnival freakshow that it is now, I never would have joined back in 1971. I would have kicked Gen. Austin’s azz, Gen. Milley Vanilli’s azz and Vindman’s azz. Vindman’s lawyer brother’s ass too for what they’ve done to our ancestor’s military.

Received a brief from my battalion commander yesterday. He was ordered by the Commanding General to personally brief every Soldier in the battalion to “tell our story” to the public and embrace the “Soldier Referral Program.”
We all kind of chuckled and made references to Judas. We call the ribbon we get when one of our referrals make it through training the “Judas Ribbon.” None of us are referring anyone.
