Family Member of Jan. 6 Probe Victim Who Committed Suicide: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis Wants ‘Nothing to Do’ with Jan. 6 Whistleblowers, ‘Ignores’ All Our Calls

A close family member of a victim who committed suicide under duress caused by the illegal and unconstitutional Jan. 6 probe is speaking out on the cold and callous behavior of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

Matthew Perna committed suicide in March 2022 after being hit with a multitude of charges for peacefully protesting in and around the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6. His aunt, Geni Perna stated in a recent interview that DeSantis ignores all of the calls from Jan. 6 whistleblowers who are speaking out against the injustices that are being perpetrated upon pro-MAGA patriots by the federal government.

“Ron DeSantis has nothing to do with any of the people from Florida, and there are more people in Florida than any other state who were arrested for Jan. 6, and he ignores every one of their calls. People are desperate,” Geni Perna said.

Ron is being sucked into the swamp.

It’s human nature to want to be in control, and in control of other peoples lives. Power. And it’s human nature to sell your soul to get there. He’s not his own man he cannot find his own ascension like trump can. Therefore he is a slave to the swamp or soon very shortly will be.

He will end up being another Bush.

RINOs, Never Trumpers, The Deep State, and Faux News are rallying behind DeSantis.

Another fake Trump publication. I’m sure there is at least one real person who feels DeSantis isn’t doing enough of something. Whether that person represents many people is one question; whether their expectations of DeSantis are is another.

This issue has absolutely nothing to do with DeSantis and everything to do with Trump. Trump picked the Attorney General, many of the prosecutors, many of the judges, and had the authority to pardon the protestors. He chose not to to save his own skin. That may not have been stupid or cowardly, but why would you expect DeSantis to pick up a hot-button issue that is 100% out of his jurisdiction/portfolio/expertise when Trump was president and wouldn’t touch it until he hit the campaign trail?

I like DeSantis.

But, he’s a politician. He worked in Washington as a congressman, alongside hundreds of politicians. He’s one of those that learned to go along to get along. He’ll compromise on his principles if the politics demands it.

Trump was not and is still not a typical politician. His life’s work was not as a politician.

Who to vote for? My vote goes for the non-politician. Second, if necessary, DeSantis.

Missing the point, much? With the news of the whistleblowers, every court that has a case with evidence held by the FBI should sequester that evidence as ‘tainted’ since it was controlled by the FBI.

These posters seem to think they have to paragraph their hate. I guess that's the only way they can lace their rants with outright lies. Brevity is wit.

>> He will end up being another Bush. <<

Bush was born in the swamp. That Trump was an outsider was a plus; that he had no more than a high-school students’ understanding of civics was an enormous minus.

What Trump needs is an army of swamp-drainers he can trust. But he’s a terrible judge of character because he demands PERSONAL loyalty instead of loyalty to the cause.

DeSantis is unproven, but like Trump he seems to have calculated that he wants to be elected by the people, not the machine.

>> It’s human nature to want to be in control, and in control of other peoples lives. Power. <<

That DeSantis is NOT falling for this tempting bait — trying to insert himself into an issue that it entirely outside of his jursidiction/authority/expertise — is an example of NOT doing what you accuse him of doing.

>> He’s not his own man he cannot find his own ascension like trump can. <<

Trump did not use his own money to get elected. He relied on casino owners, hedge fund managers, international banks, shady lawyers, import/export firms, etc. to get elected.

Yup DeSantis does not want to take on anything so difficult. The problem is that the country is full of very difficult problems right now. We need someone who is willing to take them all on. Our survival depends on it.
