“canned wine is as fine as wine in a plastic bag in a box”

No comparison.....the can causes a metallic taste.

Not being a wine snob, for the price, box wine is tolerable.......to me anyway

I live in Oregon, on the east side of the Willamette Valley. No wineries in these parts, but it seems like every other property is either a grass seed farm or a hazelnut orchard.

The Willamette Valley is a huge vineyard area, isn’t it? Are they all on the west side of the valley?

Two Buck Chuck was $3.99 a bottle.

And it costs more than $6 a night at Motel 6.

So after the run on the bank, now there’s going to be a run on wine.

Next week wine will be as hard to find as toilet paper two years ago.

“There are no doubt thousands of companies who aren’t going to make payroll the next few weeks. Will they lay all those people off? Ask them to work with the hope that they MIGHT get a paycheck down the road? Close their doors?”

Thanks for posting 3 excellent questions re the impact of this non bank going out of business!

There are actually vineyards all over Oregon, but in the valley they are mostly on the west side, on the Coast Range foothills.
