Actually, single use bathrooms are a good idea.
My youngest son has Asbergers. As a SPED, going to the boys bathroom in high school can be a dicey proposition (we know from experience, as he was attacked in one). SPED students are targets for bullies, so he knows the safest bathrooms with good locks and urinates in the stall, not the urinal. He waits until the bathroom is completely clear before coming out and will find another bathroom if there are a bunch of students already in there.
Now why isn’t he in a special school if I’m so worried? This school has a SPED program. Moreover, he is smarter and behaves better than 95% of the “normal” kids.
They should build them right by the front counter, in view of a camera, so no shenanigans take place.

How old is Youngkin? He has to be in his mid-50’s, right? Can’t he remember back to his youth in the 70’s when the only thing people cared about bathrooms was if they were clean? There wasn’t any of this gender-neutral crap. There were boy’s/men’s rooms and girl’s/women’s rooms. Males went into one and women into the other. There wasn’t a thought otherwise. There wasn’t extra money spent. There weren’t electronic sinks where you could barely wash your hands because the water cuts off. There weren’t low-water use toilets. Toilets used to actually work. There weren’t lights that automatically turned off if you sat on the toilet reading. My high school didn’t even have urinals. It was a concrete trough the stretched the length of the wall with a continuous flow of water. What’s with people’s fixation about toilets?
Keep it eff’n simple and cheap. School is for learning, not worrying about toilets.
It is obvious that Youngkin is not concerned about things that matter. You can tell by his concern about the things that do not matter: toilet and transgenders. The latter should just be ridiculed and abused. They truly do not matter.
Youngkin will never get my vote if he runs for President. There is no reform for stupidity.

Surgical and chemical mutilations on minors to attempt to give a physical impression of the opposite sex from biological sex should not be allowed under law.
If a minor is not considered responsible enough to enter into binding contracts or even to drink a beer, then how on earth is it okay for minors to be permanently mutilated in this way?
It would cost $50,000 plus for every ‘extra’ bathroom that would need to be installed. You protest a bit too much. Do you work for this governor?

A problem exists, a single use bathroom or a few of them in a school of thousands of students is no big deal.

Younkin is saying Trannies either use a bathroom that aligns with their sex at birth (their real sex), or else they use a single occupancy bathroom. They are never allowed to go into a bathroom used by the opposite sex.
Trannies hate this because they don’t get to intrude on the opposite sex.
But on FR, this gets twisted into Youngkin somehow siding with trannies.

I’m supportive of what you’re saying. Yes people are born with all kinds of chemical and physical differences. They deserve acceptance and understanding.
As you said there are lots of “pretenders” Our daughter told us years ago that transgender had become the biggest gimmick for guys to pick up girls, who are all kinds of facinated by having some cute bf who is pretending to be a girl.
We also know of cases where the “transgender” is a much older guy in a relationship with a younger girl. It’s become a trendy pickup technique.

Even as a man, I prefer my own space when I have to go. I'm not really fond of lining up with other men at the urinals in a typical multi-occupancy men's room. Especially when some fat man who just consumed a six-pack of tacos from Taco Bell is farting away in one of the stalls.
