The Geopolitical Relevance of Viktor Orbán’s Planned Trip to China
Hungary Today ^ | 3/10/23 | Mariann Ory

A pragmatic relationship with China is an important part of Hungary’s geopolitical strategy. Viktor Orbán’s planned visit to Beijing in the autumn also shows that China considers Hungary an important partner in Europe.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will travel to China in the autumn, Index reports. Gergely Gulyás, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office, informed the news portal about the date of the trip after his press conference on Thursday. Index reported earlier that Viktor Orbán’s visit to Beijing was in the pipeline, citing Bertalan Havasi, the prime minister’s press chief.

Hungary is following India and beginning to distance itself from the West’s woke globalism. The woke proselytizing and hegemonic proxy wars are uniting the entire unwoke world against the US and NATO controlled Europe. Would membership in BRICS by Hungary and Turkey be tolerated by Brussels?

Biden is the best BRICS salesman on the planet. The only people who listen to him are NEOCONS

The thing that makes America successful is that we are a huge exporter of things the world needs and a huge importer of things the world wants to sell. I think that if you compare the market size (buying and selling) that the BRICS are relatively small potatoes. Sure there are estimates that they will be half the world’s economy by (pick a date starting fifty years from now.) Regardless of how the politics works out America will continue to be relatively more important to the BRICS (possibly minus Russia) than the rest of their markets combined.

Because of their populations, India and Brazil have huge potential, but the average income for, say, India is so low that India will not be able to support its own consumer culture for a long time. That means they’ll continue to need the US
See numbers below. China is in demographic collapse and is in significant financial trouble. Regardless of how the war works out, Russia will be fifty years recovering from the current mess. Brazil is incredibly poor.

For Indian labor:
Daily wage labours - 2-3 $/day
Less trained Employees [Support staff] - 5-8 $/day
Govt./Bank Employees - 15-18 $/day
Undergrads [Engineering] - 11-15 $/day
Grads [Engineering] - 15-25 $/day
Medicine [Trainee] - 11-15 $/day
Medicine [Full time] - 25-35 $/day
These are the sectors that cover the majority of Indian jobs.

Well Hungary should leave NATO then if it doesn’t like it, and thinks that it can get a better deal from Putin.

“ Hungary is following India and beginning to distance itself from the West’s woke globalism.…”
**********************************************************

Hungary’s national leadership is rejecting/ignoring the EU’s directives to, essentially, commit NATIONAL SUICIDE. Glad to see Italy, under Moroni, stand up to the EU’s orders to allow the invaders to land on Italian shores. More European nations will follow. Sadly, for some nations such as the UK it may be too late. I recently read that the UK may be making it a HATE CRIME to criticize the constant illegal alien boat people invading the UK.

That’s exactly what you’re seeing happening. Orban has told your woke masters to shove their perversions and lies, kinda like I have. The NATO warmongering idiots have bitten off much more than they can chew. When Xi puts 10 divisions on the Polish/Belarus border, 10 divisions on the Baltic States borders and 25 divisions in the Ukraine theater, what do you think happens to NATO unity?

“Well Hungary should leave NATO then if it doesn’t like it, and thinks that it can get a better deal from Putin.”

Hungary has also been railroading Finland and Sweden’s becoming NATO members. I’d rather Sweden and Finland be in NATO than Hungary. Hungary was a happy ally of Nazi Germany until the Axis started losing.

It won’t happen. But you get a tingle running up your leg just at the thought of it.

At some point Hungary will have to make a choice, BRICS or the EU. The EU isn’t going to allow both. Will the people stick with Orban, or will they buckle for the EU?

Is your head in the sand or stuck up somewhere else? The new Russian/Chinese military alliance is a reality. Do you really think Xi was going fight the US in China? Your DC heroes forced Putin into his arms, the perfect proxy. Victory, as stated by DC and Brussels, is “the defeat of the Russian military”. Bring it on in Belarus, Poland and Ukraine. The perfect storm for Xi. Not only can the dipshits and traitors in DC running the Uke quagmire blunder us into WWIII, their hinterland stooges can cheer them all the way.

If Hungary joins they can change it to BRICSH and pronounce it like Sean Connery.

These countries are in the process of becoming members. Hungary could fast track before those guys. How would you pronounce it next year with this expansion. With North American oil, gas and grain being severely curtailed, check the stranglehold BRICSAAIHEI…. would have in world food and energy production.

“Concerning a BRICS expansion, Lavrov stated that Algeria, Argentina, and Iran had all applied, while it is already known that Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, Egypt and Afghanistan are interested, along with Indonesia, which is expected to make a formal application to join at the upcoming G20 summit in Bali.

Other likely contenders for membership include Kazakhstan, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Senegal, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates. All had their Finance Ministers present at the BRICS Expansion dialogue meeting held in May.”

“Is your head in the sand or stuck up somewhere else? The new Russian/Chinese military alliance is a reality.”

You said, in your post #6: “When Xi puts 10 divisions on the Polish/Belarus border, 10 divisions on the Baltic States borders and 25 divisions in the Ukraine theater, what do you think happens to NATO unity?”

I said it won’t happen. A division is about 12,000 men; and can be as much as 15,000 men. You are saying that China is going to put around 500,000 to 700,000 men in Europe — exclusively on the borders of Poland, the Baltic states, and “the Ukraine theater.”

Dream on.

You might want to go look up these things called WORLD WARS! That’s why you see so many idiots who think a world war against a nuclear power with 2 million active duty personnel is a good idea. Oh no, they can’t spare 600,000 fully equipped soldiers from the 2 million you have the fools idea it takes to guard against a NORTH Korean invasion of China. Speaking of world wars, it’s empty headed, propagandized thinking like yours that blunder us into them. Read a history book!

“You might want to go look up these things called WORLD WARS!”

Oh, I know about the World Wars. I’ve been reading history my entire life (I am in my 70s); my father was a pilot with the USAAF in the ETO. My university degree is in history.

“That’s why you see so many idiots who think a world war against a nuclear power with 2 million active duty personnel is a good idea.”

Name them. Name those “idiots” who think a world war with a nuclear power is a good thing. The only people I’ve seen here on FR fantasizing about a nuclear war are those who support Russia.

“Oh no, they can’t spare 600,000 fully equipped soldiers from the 2 million you have the fools idea it takes to guard against a NORTH Korean invasion of China.”

WTF are you ranting about? North Korea is threatening to invade China? You are delusional.

“Speaking of world wars, it’s empty headed, propagandized thinking like yours that blunder us into them.”

Nice try, son.

“Read a history book!”

I’ve read more history books than you can possibly imagine.

You sound very angry. I suggest you take a chill pill, and take a good, long rest before you start posting again; lest you embarrass yourself further.
