Ministry of Defense: Russian Armed Forces launched a retaliatory strike in response to the terrorist attacks of Ukraine in the Bryansk region

Moscow, March 9-RIA Novosti. The Russian Armed Forces launched a major retaliatory missile attack on the military infrastructure of Ukraine in response to a terrorist attack in the Bryansk regions, according to a summary of the Ministry of Defense on the progress of the special operation.

"High precision long-range air, sea and land-based weapons, including the Kinzhal hypersonic missile system, hit key elements of Ukraine's military infrastructure, enterprises of the military-industrial complex, as well as the energy facilities that provide them", the ministry said.

America =/= Biden.

There’s a lot wrong with the US, but it’s got massive resources to put into supporting Ukraine, vastly more than Russia will ever have. Add in all of Europe, which is effectively another US.

The consistent failure I see here is the absurd personalization of everything. That is a silly mistake. This is a collective effort, with plenty of players, interests, opinions, abilities and resources.

I suggest you all look at the Euros, notably the front line states, and try understand where they are coming from.

There’s no path to victory for Ukraine

you guys seem to think Ukrainian tanks have to roll on to Moscow to achieve a "victory"

they don't

Ukraine is fighting for its life against a larger aggressor, so every day it survives is a success

it's had about 380 days of successes so far, and still controls 85% of its territory

eventually Russia will tire of its losses, or go bankrupt from the sanctions, or Putin will die and the next guy will be sensible, or something

in the meantime, Ukraine is still willing to fight ... giving up is not an option

Russia did report a terrorist attack last week in the Bryansk Region two adults killed a ten-year old boy wounded.

Russia said Ukraine was responsible.

I knew military action would follow and today it did.

“As Russia’s war with Ukraine enters its second year, many of the nation’s higher ups are continuing to turn against President Vladimir Putin.

“According to recent Kremlin leaks, Wagner Group boss Yevgeny Prigozhin has been discussing the possibly of removing the Russian leader from his post...”

Or, much more likely, it’s just time for the monthly missile barrage.

you guys seem to think Ukrainian AMERICAN tanks have to roll on to Moscow to achieve a "victory"

Fixed it for you

they don't

Actually, they do

Ukraine NATO is fighting for its life to hide the COVID origin biolabs and money-laundering corruption against a larger aggressor, so every day it survives is a success

Fixed it for you again

it's had about 380 days of successes so far, and still controls 85% of its territory

So successful that it continues to ask the U.S. for money and weapons, and the dancing homo asking Americans to send their sons and daughters to die for his war

eventually Russia will tire of its losses, or go bankrupt from the sanctions, or Putin will die and the next guy will be sensible, or something

Actually the Ruble is at its highest in history. The sanctions have backfired, and Russian, Iran, and China are ditching the fiat U.S. dollar

in the meantime, Ukraine is still willing to fight ... giving up is not an option

Ukraine is forcing able-bodied men off the street to fight. Desperation.

That's a specious comparison.

The rebels put up a pretty good fight. No telling how it would have gone if most of Europe had supported them with much greater arms and money.

In this case, it is the West and it’s allies that have the greater wealth resources, approximately 80% of global GDP.

Oh I don’t doubt there may have been an attack. Or who may have been responsible. It’s just a bit rich to invade a country and then call it a “terrorist attack” if they hit back.

They’re retaliating for Ukraine’s disrespectful act of defending itself.

Was this before or after Ukraine targeted ethnic Russians in the Donbas?

The sooner Russia wraps this up, the better

“takes more than just oil to win a war”

Yep, and that’s why PUTIN is getting everything he needs from CHINA, a country that your Neocon ‘friends’ just had to drive into the arms of Russia.

“Face it, America is decaying and start to stink, very badly.”

Then stay in Russia, and don’t ever come back to the US. You’ll feel much better. And so will we.

The rebels put up a pretty good fight.

Yeah, well they still lost. This isn't horseshoes.

No telling how it would have gone if most of Europe had supported them with much greater arms and money.

Europe didn't have the balls to intervene and most the South didn't want them to interven anyway, because they'd essentially be an occupied territory rather than the free nation they aspired to be.

In this case, it is the West and it’s allies that have the greater wealth resources, approximately 80% of global GDP.

LOL. The West (U.S.) is crippled by an illegitimate President who's placing tons of regulatory burdens and weakening the currency through inflation. Russia, China, and Iran are already preparing to move on economically as if the dollar doesn't exist anymore. We are running on fumes right now and it's only a matter of time before we break out the wheelbarrows to haul worthless dollars to buy a loaf a bread.

Stupid idiot Russians attack Ukraine and call the Ukrainians “terrorists” for having the nerve to strike back.

Uncultured, arrogant barbarians.

Then stay in Russia,

Why the Hobson's choice?

I don't care about Russia. Critics of sending endless money and weapons to Ukraine don't care about Russia either.

Do you not see how corrupt our own filthy government is?

“Very well put. The outcome was clear early. The war cheerleaders put themselves behind a corrupted senile incompetent US President. “

Absolutely - and they let themselves get into a WAR OF ATTRITION against Russia, and if that wasn’t bad enough, they just had to get CHINA on Russia’s side, to make sure that Russia will NEVER run out.

And the funny thing is that the Neocons, haters of the military until they were able to create an enemy, likely figured that they could send someone to Joe’s Gun and Tackle and buy whatever amount of 155 mm’s that they needed - after all, ammunition is ammunition.
