Turning A Blind Eye To Inconvenient Truths About Jan. 6

For more than two years, Democrats and the media have been completely and totally fixated on the events of Jan. 6, 2021, using carefully selected clips from more than 40,000 hours of surveillance footage to tell their story of a violent insurrection.

But now that Fox News has gained access to the complete video record and is providing the public with a far more complete picture of what happened that day, we fully expect the left to suddenly decide that Jan. 6 isn’t worth talking about any more.

Shortly after Republicans took control of the House, Speaker Kevin McCarthy decided to make the complete set of surveillance videos available to Fox News’ Tucker Carlson. You can debate McCarthy’s choice of who got access all you want. But the result is that the public has, for the first time, seen surveillance footage Democrats didn’t want Americans to see. Such as evidence of Capitol Police officers politely escorting peaceful demonstrators around the building.

Watching the democrats and their voters try to twist the narrative back into their favor is rather amusing. They are really ticked that these few, very few, videos have been released. And, they are panicking that even more might come to light. That's why some or calling for everyone to just "move on" and forget they ever said anything.

That's the reason for the attacks on Carlson. They are hoping to intimidate him from releasing any more (and they may have succeeded), but I suspect McCarthy is going to have to release the video to others to appease the Freedom Caucus. In exchange for the votes needed, they insisted on having a way to remove him as Speaker should he fail to keep to his promises.

I want to see what video the left used in their inquisition and what the actual context was when shown in its entirety.

Turn the video over to the journalists who are actually journalists. Matt Taibbi, Glenn Greenwald, Bari Weiss, Tracy Beanz, Aaron Mate, Michael Shellenberger, and a few others. Some of these are the ones who have spent untold hours going through the Twitter files and exposing the government censorship and corruption.

Today, at the Twitter files hearing, Michel Shellenberger had to explain to a democrat representative as to exactly who Bari Weiss is and why she is considered a journalist. We are represented by some truly uninformed and ignorant people. That is not an exaggeration.

It’s unbelievable to me, that Bennie Thompson from that committee of January 6, said that he and his people never saw the video that Tucker Carlson has in his possession.

Is the implication that the January 6th committee would have come to different conclusions of only they had seen the video?

But they had access to all these videos. The January 6 committee only showed us certain videos which supported their case that there was a violent riot at the Capitol, and Trump was causing the riot etc.

I would expect that the public release of these videos will result in mistrials for many of those falsely accused of wrong doing on January 6th and show that the only deaths that day were at the hands of the Capitol Police. Tucker was a good choice to receive the videos first as the mainstream media will either ignore the videos or claim they are misinformation. However, now open them to all and have the deep state try to squirm their way out of the lies Tucker exposed.

Unfortunately, Tucker’s people have no way of knowing which people in the videos are controlled by the FBI. And Tucker said he will not try to identify them, for fear of being wrong.

If I had access to the tapes, would raise many questions, which could only be resolved by direct testimony, under oath, of the people involved and why they were doing questionable behavior.

It’s also very important to know what instructions the Capitol Police were being given, real time, over their headsets. For example, in one instance, four cops were guarding a door, then suddenly, without explanation, all left.
Of course, there is personal video taken that should also be entered into the record, and examined.

Unfortunately, I don’t believe any of this will really happen.
