A “horrible nuclear war” will break out if the world does not stop Tehran from obtaining atomic weapons, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in his first ever address to the Iranian people on Thursday night.
“If Iran gets a nuclear weapon, this will be a problem all of us will face. It will change the world,” he said in an English-language interview with Washington-based Iran International that was also dubbed into Persian and broadcast in Iran.

The U.S., USSR, India, Pakistan, China, all avoided nuclear war due to MAD. India and China have border wars, yet they refrain from using nukes.
I don't think Iran has nukes. But if it did, it wouldn't use them, nor give them to terrorists, because Israel would retaliate. And I don't think Iran's mullahs are suicidal. They might recruit suicidal people for conventional terrorism, but the guys at the top prefer to live in comfort.

History has also shown that nuclear nations don't share. The more nations with nukes, the less special your nuclear club membership.
MAD works if the people at the top aren’t mad.
And Iran’s mullahs aren’t mad. They live in comfort and luxury, and prefer to keep it that way.

I believe this also. It would be pretty stupid of the Iranian leaders to telegraph their program.
They’ll produce one, two, four...or whatever. Spread them throughout the country in hardened bunkers. Then announce they’re a nuclear power.
If a strike to take them out is ordered, there is no way to neutralize all of them before they launch an outbound.
Thereby placing the world in a stalemate.
