U.S. military commanders and experts are sounding warnings about the buildup of Russian submarines off American coasts.
The Russian buildup of naval assets is more expansive than just the Black Sea and the Mediterranean, and it includes seas surrounding the United States, sources told Newsweek.
"Nuclear-powered submarines have been deploying off the coast of the United States and into the Mediterranean and elsewhere along Europe periphery," Russia Maritime Studies Institute (RMSI) Director Michael Peterson told Newsweek, warning the deployments "mirror Soviet style submarine deployments in the Cold War."
Among the assets off the coasts are nuclear-capable submarines in the Severodvinsk class, which was also has been warned by U.S. Air Force Gen. Glen VanHerck, who runs the Northern Command and NORAD.
"They just moved subs, their first [Severodvinsk submarine] into the Pacific," VanHerck warned last October. "Another is out in the Mediterranean right now, and another that's out on its way into the Atlantic. That will be a persistent, proximate threat capable of carrying a significant number of land-attack cruise missiles that can threaten our homeland."

Russian subs cruise our coasts all the time just s our subs cruise Russian coasts al the time. Someone is just making he water muddy.
Intercepting is a much higher level than simply cutting. Cutting fiber optic cables will be 1,000 simpler, done from subs or even boats by laying out a linear explosive charge at 90* across the cable.
Once this starts, goodbye international internet, goodbye int’l finance and commerce as we know it.
We had great friends who grew up and had a retirement home in Gales Ferry, we all went down to tour the Nautilus, I just couldn’t.
You obviously did not check my link.
Instead you post photos from 1989. Your #2 from here:

I don’t have time now to run the others through Tin Eye, but you’ve been busted.
See my #48 and especially #64.
And here we are, two short years later……….at war with Russia, China floating spy balloons above our land, Americans murdered in Mexico, thug “wolf packs” roaming our cities, and our economy shattered.
Boats [in px] 1 and 3 are not in bad shape.
“Once this starts, goodbye international internet, goodbye int’l finance and commerce as we know it.”
Exactly. People don’t have a clue about the extent of the marine cable network and how we depend on it.
Back to voice-only(if there are any geostationary satellites and ground stations left with that relay function). There’s nothing like that one second delay to muck up communications.

Hubby was in Defense and did a lot of work there. My “EB” sweatshirts are my favorites.
He just grabs old photos from the 1980s and early 90s are ft reddit and wiki.
The “Akuoa class” one is from 1994:

Funny how he picked the old one off the wiki when pix of newer ones were available on the page, all while claiming “2023”:

It’s going to be an interesting run.
We know God wins though and for that, we always carry hope.
See my #48 and #64 and #70.

“Not everything is a conspiracy.”
True. But everything that was a conspiracy theory for now is “current events”.
each sub is being followed by a seawolf or va class ssn. OR TWO.
Sats won’t have the capacity, and will also be targeted in the escalation following the undersea cable cutting war.
(Mostly American) LNG carriers will also be easy targets, giant floating bombs that can be taken out mid-ocean with no collateral damage.
All of this gives rising Eurasia a big edge over the West’s “Oceania.”
For example: LNG liquefaction and gasification plants cost billions and take years to build. If they are blown up by sabotage (deniable) they are out for months to forever.
OTOH, cutting a terrestrial nat gas pipeline running across Eurasia doesn’t do nearly as much, because a breached terrestrial pipeline takes days to weeks to repair.
You need to provide the evidence that we didn’t blow up the Nordstream. It will be hard for you when there is video of Joe and Victoria Nuland threatening just that.
I think we will wait for you to provide the evidence we did not destroy the pipeline.
In your dreams. It’s not 1980 anymore.
“The hypocrisy of the U.S. knows no bounds.”
Is that a quote from from the Iranians, the Soviets, the North Koreans or the Red Chinese?
Trying to figure out which America hating nation said that......
