The administrators of nearly 6,000 schools need to be convicted of violating parental rights

I hate to tell you this, but the moment parents signed on to the public school standing in loco parentis, they surrendered a big chunk of their "rights.

I still disagree with the legalities of what the districts are doing. But that doesn't matter...EVERYONE needs to understand that the Educational Industrial Complex has framed this as an ethical issue, where siding with the student is most ethical

Based on this reasoning, all a teacher needs to do is 1) define a problems as an "ethical responsibility" (a situation with just one morally justified course of action), and 2) declare the problem is not an "ethical dilemma" (a situation for which there is more than one possible resolution, which can be justified in moral terms), and then 3) bypass the parents.

Legally, not surprisingly, The American Civil Liberties Union has also argued that it’s unconstitutional for public schools to reveal a student’s gender identity to others. Angry parents can put their child in private school or home-school them, said an A.C.L.U. lawyer, Jon Davidson, who is co-counsel for a school district that was sued by parents in Wisconsin. “Parents don’t have a constitutional right to dictate to schools how they should create an optimal learning environment for students,” he said.

By framing the destruction of the family as an collectivist ethical and legal issue, the left has guaranteed that this will be tied up in the courts long enough for them to run out the clock on this generation's childhood. By the time sanity prevails, a generation will be lost (again).

Remove your kids from school. NOW. Otherwise...

>> in loco parentis (in place of the parent)

Providing it’s not a Nun correcting bad behavior....

Appreciated, but I don’t recall signing any agreements that surrendered my parental authority. And this implicit ‘in loco parentis’ standing certainly doesn’t grant matters of sexuality — thus, the predators they’ve proven themselves to be.

No. Loco parentis does not in any way grant the school the authority to meddle in a student’s personal life. Loco parentis only grants the authority to discipline and protect the child.
