Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), now a CNN contributor, said Tuesday on “CNN This Morning” that Fox News host Tucker Carlson is a “grifter” whose coverage of video footage from the January 6, 2021 riot at the U.S. Capitol was “disgusting.”
Kinzinger said, “It’s disgusting. The sad thing is you’re going to have people that have only gotten their news on Fox News that are never going to have the opportunity to hear the truth. What Tucker Carlson employs here and employed it the entire time he’s been as a grifter TV show host because he knows better than this, by the way — he takes a cut scene and creates a straw man.”
He continued, “First off, on the opening there where he says, look, there is only like a handful of people here. I know one of those rooms, particularly Statuary Hall, was filled with people. There is tons of pictures of that. At some point leading up to or after, there are moments where there are only a few people in there.”

Of course there are bad moments. Having a crowd isn’t one of them.
The thing here is how much damage was actually done? Some asses actually broke windows many of which are likely priceless. But were any statues damaged much less torn down? NO. Were frescoes and paintings of our hallowed past damaged and pulled down? NO. Was anyone actually killed? Only a protestor. By a defender.
Really, all I saw early on was a lot of killing around, standing, walking, NOT RUNNING. Little mayhem. Some pushing as a crowd and some shouting. Also saw sleeping under paintings and pix with statues. Basically this was a joke of a “riot” as these disingenuous projecting commie bastards like to call it.
Something about Sitnick.
At first the Media said Sitnick was clobbered by a fire extinguisher canister earlier in the day, or that he was pepper sprayed, which contributed to his death—but there is no video to support either of those allegations.
Tucker claims Sitnick supported Trump, shows video of him politely directing protesters inside the Capitol building, and that he died of an ‘unrelated stroke’ the next day.
The evidence indicates that Biden and the MSM knew Sitnick was MAGA and that he was directing protesters inside the Capitol, and not the fire extinguisher story. Doesn’t add up. Sitnick’s family response only raises more red flags, like Seth Rich.
Would really like to see the autopsy report.

He’s not a Republican; he just ran as one because his district at the time was still somewhat red. As soon as he was elected he cast aside his red cloak and started showing his Dem credentials. Even the Dems couldn’t stand him (but used him, anyway), the abruptly gerrymandered him out of his district.
There are a lot of conservatives in Illinois; just not enough to overcome the Chicago cartel.
amazing how the same cameras that showed what the demo-commies wanted us to see are the same cameras that tucker Carlson is showing footage from, but somehow, NOW, it’s a lie?

No, there are real conservatives, but mainly in the more rural areas of Southern Illinois. In the northern suburban areas, that’s where you get this weird hybrid species of Republican. They can’t get elected without appealing to suburban women who were probably all Democrat voters until they got married and moved out to the ‘burbs, and then began to vote Republican since that’s what their new peer group does. But they’re still pro-abortion and leftists on the social issues.
