It makes a difference what they are, and speculation is just that.

As far as weapon stocks, I like this wake-up call, I like that the West is coming back to reality and increasing their military budgets and increasing weapon orders and building new ammo factories, and expanding older ones.

As Russia is being diminished as a threat, China is growing as one, and all of this is helping the West become better prepared and more focused on military matters.

The West was really stagnating militarily, a year ago.

A powerful military is worthless if we decay from the inside. And our demographic and cultural Christian European heritage is decaying.

Rome scored a major military defeat against the Huns as late as AD 451 (Battle of the Catalaunian Plains). That still didn't prevent Rome's final collapse 25 years later.

Some conservatives can't bear to face our inner decay, so they compensate by looking to overseas military victories. "Wow, look at how we bombed the hell out of that Third World village! Makes me proud to see America standing tall!"

I'd rather we had victories at home.

I am well aware of the decay in America, but what does that have to do with what we are talking about?

You are really confused about national defense and strategic interests and in your maudlin state, you think we should drop everything for some reason.

Your “compensation” nonsense was really childish and revealing of your maturity state, grow-up.
