According to Commander John Murray officers arrived at the scene of the burglary which he says happened around 4:45 a.m.
Investigators say the the suspects fled in two separate vehicles heading north and south of the dispensary.
The northbound pursuit ended in Oakland, where one suspect was arrested by the authorities. The California Highway Patrol assisted with the Bay Area pursuit.
Meanwhile the Monterey County Sheriff's officer assisted in the southbound pursuit which ended in Chualar, where five suspects fled on foot in the dark and all of them fell into an irrigation ditch.
