WASHINGTON, March 1 (Reuters) - The FBI has assessed that a leak from a laboratory in the central Chinese city of Wuhan likely caused the COVID pandemic, director Christopher Wray said on Tuesday, a claim China said had "no credibility whatsoever".
"The FBI has for quite some time now assessed that the origins of the pandemic are most likely a potential lab incident in Wuhan," Wray told Fox News.
His comments follow a Wall Street Journal report on Sunday that the U.S. Energy Department had assessed with low confidence the pandemic resulted from an unintended lab leak in China.

China always has the ultimate handle - the grip they have on the corrupt, inept, and totally dishonest Biden family and their media/FBI/DOJ/IRS/congress cohorts. Face it, folks, the corruption is so deep that your septic tank is cleaner than D.C.
The COVID-19 virus really did come from the Wuhan lab…WITHOUT A DOUBT.
But my skeptical nature says the FBI’s SUDDEN INTEREST in the subject is nothing more than the FBI SHOUTING ‘SQUIRREL’ to distract from Congressional interest in the FBI’s involvement in planning and triggering January 7 events.

I agree with China. It was not a leak. It was a deliberate release. DC officialdom suddenly deciding that it was a leak is nothing but a fallback position from their original lie that it was not man-made. Bastards are still lying to us. Once it became obvious that it was man-made, their choice was to admit the truth that it was a lie to stop the Chinese protests that were spreading across the country, and to derail Donald Trump‘s reelection. They either had to admit that, or fall back on the sloppy concept, that it was just an innocent leak. They are still lying.
Bastard commie has a point. But until an actual bat can be found with the virus, which they've been looking to find for years, the assumption must be that it was man made, and Wuhan had a lab doing that exact kind of research.
The only way the story will ever move forward is for US witnesses to start talking about what US agencies and companies were doing with the Wuhan lab. So far Andrew Huff is the only one directly involved who has been willing to come clean, because he was actually opposed to gain of function research. He was VP at EcoHealth alliance, but had left before it all seriously hit the fan over there.

CCP is a wicked horrible regime that makes the corrupt US federal government look benevolent.
To be a Chinese subject in China is a curse. China suffered through anarchy and foreign domination through the 19th and during the 20th until Japan was defeated. Since then they have had to endure authoritarian totalitarian regimes that have resulted in unprecedented democide.
What we can prove is that it was deliberately spread, from Wuhan, by the CCP, to the US and Europe.
They have lost a lot of credibility and are under scrutiny. Being questioned vigorously by the republican reps, highlighting certain potential illegal activities. Recently they have been caught wanting to spy on Catholic churches they don't approve of.
So they took a break from swatting pro-life sidewalk counselors and their young families, to produce this rather serious pronouncement.
It just looks like deflection and a PR stunt.
