In a great reverse Black migration, Brookings data says four of the top five states for Black population gains since 2010 are Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, and Florida. Black people are driving U-Hauls to Texas, Georgia and Florida despite voter restrictions. A new Republican majority on North Carolina’s supreme court is reconsidering redistricting and voting restrictions ruled illegal by the court’s prior Democratic majority. Florida banned an Advanced Placement African American studies course. Texas and Florida are ending diversity, equity and inclusion in state agencies, and limiting the teaching of race in schools.
Some observers, such New York Times columnist Charles Blow, cheer the migration in hopes that it alters red Southern politics to purple. That is a reason to believe that can happen, with Georgia voting a Democrat into the White House in 2020 for the first time in nearly 30 years and sending its first Black and Jewish senators to Congress. North Carolina voted for Democrat Barack Obama in 2008. Florida voted both times for Obama.
But fixating solely on that lets Democrats off the hook for not protecting, as they say in basketball, home court. The willingness of Black people to live in the crosshairs of conservative politics says a lot about what they fled in the so-called liberal North and West Coast.

Why anyone would support that party of hate and evil is astonishing. There are lots of stupid, easily manipulated people out there.
Not Georgia. A lot of Blacks moving to Atlanta plus liberal Whites are making Georgia purple and possibly in ten years from now, a blue state if things do not change.
Why? Jobs.

Seems a fair opening to a story. Where “voter restrictions” = 1) Must be alive, 2) Vote only once, 3) Be a US citizen
The writers are disgusting. They are so partisan and isolated that it affects their intellectual integrity and ability to find truth. This article is the sine quo non of left wing Racism. It demonstrates that complete belief that black people are unable to think for themselves, too lazy to follow jobs, and too stupid not to believe Democrats all the time. This is racism, from the people that claim they are woke, clearly demonstrates that they have no understanding of people trying to care for their families and futures. People have always gone to opportunity, that is human nature independent of Race, and those that stay behind make a different class. Many European leaders say that when the most motivated, intelligent, and hardest working people left Europe for the new world.
People of intelligence, hard work, and desire to care and protect themselves and families will migrate away from ‘woke progressive racists’.
Same reason people are vacating central and south america. People just can’t stand living in diverse minority communities.
Like Americans in general, they are seeking “FREEDOM.”

That’s the worry everybody living in deep red states has about ALL newcomers. One of the most common complaints and deep suspicions our NextDoor in North Idaho has is people coming from California with Washington and Oregon close second and third. The immigrants are almost all white, but the suspicions are extremely high for anybody from a liberal state. Race doesn’t matter.
I would imagine that black people fleeing the Dem plantations would be more middle class and seeking refuge from the massively failed Dem-run cities and states.

Based upon reports by knowledgeable people, I conclude that they are being asked/directed to migrate to red states to undermine said states and this article is a red herring.
Not good news for red states.
