The billionaires who have owned the Republican party for decades are trying to keep their investment.
If Trump has a run of good fortune and begins attracting viewers to a different network, expect Fox News to come-a-runnin’, having quickly ‘reevaluated their values and policies’ all of a sudden. They will follow the sweet scent of the dollar bill, ‘values’ or not.
Is Trump even trying to get on any mainstream news, Fox or anywhere? I suspect he’s not at the moment.
None of the networks will be able to resist talking about Trump. It will be non-stop Trump — mostly fake news. They will make his case for him. Especially now that Twitter has been freed by Musk.
“What goes around, comes around”.
Even stuart varney on faux binez is off trump
This is a Newsmax household now.
Meh, teevee news… YouTube, Rumble and podcasts are where to go.
I remember the Fox News slogan, “We report. You decide.”
That is now out the window.
We have reached an astonishing point in America when the man strongly leading in popularity for the Republican nomination is banned from Fox News.
What is doubly disturbing is how successful a president Donald Trump proved to be in helping the people of the USA and how disastrous things are now.
We are now in a showdown over whether or not the USA can survive as a representative republic without an all-out civil war. There is nothing in history to compare to the insanity of a strong and successful leader being hated by such a wicked, wealthy few but so loved by so many in his country for his commitment to the people and his love of country.
You cannot sustain a country in which an irrational hatred of one good man controls the future of that country. There is no glue to allow these scoundrels to prevail.
The wicked and massively corrupt monsters behind this are obvious in their evil. They will fail and it will be the ugliest reckoning against such evil the world has seen.
You may be very right, not because one should go to YouTube, Rumble and podcasts to find actual news but to determine how the more powerful platforms of media are shaping the results of the election.
The election of Biden in 2020 and the failure of the Republicans, signally in Pennsylvania and Arizona in 2022, tells us that neither the quality of the candidates nor an advantage on issues necessarily determines the result in our elections. We must look elsewhere.
The power of the combined arms of the left, TV and Internet together with mail-in balloting, data mining, Democrat advantage in money and foot soldiers all in a decidedly daunting electoral college terrain, appear to be the factors determining election results. That means that more attractive Republican candidates on the seemingly winning side of issues will be ignored or distorted by these platforms so that Republicans lose. We will be stunned again in places like Arizona and Pennsylvania.
I know of no other explanation for the election of Sen. Fetterman and Joe Biden. That suggests that it doesn't matter whether we choose Trump or DeSantis, what really matters is fundamentally changing Republican electoral strategy and communications methods, not from the top down with tweaks by the likes of Rona McDaniel, but painstakingly from the bottom up.
We are in an entirely new age in the art of politics.
I don’t think Trump needs Fox News.
I haven’t watched FOX since election night 2020.
Rupert Murdoch has never been a Trump supporter. He has consistently supported Hillary even years before Trump entered the world of politics.
It certainly seems like a few antitrust laws are being shattered at fox.
Isn’t Paul Ryan on the board at Fox? If so, I think that’s the root of the problem.
Same here, except mine started in 2016...when I do watch, it is either news max or OANN
But Tucker and Maria are good ping. S/
Fox news lefted literally on Nov6, 2020, election steal night.
Haven’t watched since.
