The Belarusian partisan group did not identify the type of drone they used for their attack on Machulishchy airfield according to The Guardian’s Andrew Roth and Peter Beaumont, but they did say the people involved in the attack were “now safely outside the country.”

On February 24, 2022, Russian leader Vladimir Putin officially announced the launch of a military operation in the Donbas region of Ukraine. On the night of February 24, Putin’s idea of invading Ukraine, disguised as a “military operation”, was put into action.
On the morning of February 24, clashes broke out in the cities of Donetsk, Luhansk and Kharkov, and in the course of time the clashes there became more and more intense. Ukraine’s position in this war is incredibly strong. Because even the Ukrainian people support every decision Zelensky makes and young Ukrainians are applying to join the army. And Zelensky seems very determined not to retreat.
The Ukrainian army continues to show its military success on the battlefield, but the process Russia is going through with its decision to invade is working in the opposite way. The Russian people do not support Putin and the Russian army is almost exhausted. Russia is desperate against Ukraine.
Let’s take a look at the successful offensives of the Ukrainian army that have driven Russia into such a desperate situation.
One of the most important Ukrainian offensives during the war was the burial of the Kerch Bridge in the depths of the Black Sea. Russian leader Putin ordered the construction of the Kerch Bridge immediately after the invasion of Crimea. This bridge was to facilitate the transportation of ammunition and other supplies from Russia to Crimea.
In short, the Kerch Bridge was the bridge that connected Russia and Crimea, and the bombing attack on the Kerch Bridge by the Ukrainian army buried it deep in the sea, and Putin’s idea disappeared along with the bridge that was buried in the sea.
This attack, which took place the day after Putin’s 70th birthday, was a major blow to Russia’s military prestige.

Sergey Lavrov, Russia’s top diplomat and a close ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, said Thursday at a conference in India that the war in Ukraine “was launched against us,” prompting the crowd to erupt into laughter.
Lavrov was a speaker at India’s G20 Summit in New Delhi, leading a session that was part of a “Raisina Dialogue 2023” series. He was in discussion with Sunjoy Joshi, the chair of the Observer Research Foundation in India, and took questions from the audience.
One audience member asked Lavrov: “How the war has affected Russia’s strategy on energy, and will it mark a privilege toward Asia? And if it does, how is India going to feature in it?”
“You know, the war, which we are trying to stop, which was launched against us, using the...” Lavrov began, before being cut off by loud laughter from the crowd.
“...The Ukrainian people, uh, of course, influenced...” Lavrov tried again, before being cut off by more laughter and a shout of, “Come on!” from the crowd.
He went on to say that the war has influenced the energy policy in Russia and that they “would not rely on any partners” going forward.
Contrary to Lavrov’s claim, Russia launched an unprovoked invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 and sparked the largest military conflict in Europe since World War II.
The Kremlin has offered an array of justifications for the invasion, including the assertion that Ukraine is led by neo-Nazis. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is Jewish and lost family during the Holocaust.
Russia has also blamed NATO, suggesting that the alliance’s expansion provoked the conflict. But Ukraine is not a NATO member and was not on track to join the alliance when Russia invaded.
Experts widely agree that Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the invasion of Ukraine out of a desire to restore Russia as an imperial power. Putin, who once described the collapse of the Soviet Union as the “greatest geopolitical catastrophe” of the 20th century, has likened himself to Peter the Great while defending Russia’s assault on Ukraine.
The Russian leader has falsely claimed that Ukraine is not a real country, offering a distorted view of history to vindicate Russia’s brutal campaign to subjugate its next-door neighbor.
The Russian Empire controlled much of Ukraine before later making it part of the Soviet Union. But Ukrainians in 1991 overwhelmingly voted for independence from the USSR, making it clear that they did not want to be subservient to Moscow.
Russia has been condemned around the world for invading Ukraine, and faces widespread allegations of war crimes.

VLADIMIR Putin is set to unleash his 800,000-strong ‘HITLER YOUTH’ propaganda army to peddle HATE in a new cyber war with the West, it has been reported.
The Russian president wants to use the young troops to tackle “Western values”, foreign interference and poison on social media.
Putin’s ‘youth army’ is already 803,000-strong
Critics have accused Putin’s fast-growing ‘Yunarmia’ of resembling the Hitler Youth in Nazi Germany after the strategy was revealed by spymaster Nikolai Patrushev, head of the Kremlin’s security council.
This involved giving “fresh impetus to the work of the military-patriotic public movement Yunarmia” - also known as Putin’s “youth army”.
Patrushev - a former head of the FSB counterintelligence service and one of the Russian president’s closest allies - called for “creating and developing training centres in regions for the military and patriotic upbringing of young people”.
He warned: ”The increase in interethnic tension, the spread of xenophobia and extremism is influenced by the promotion by foreign non-governmental organisations of pro-Western liberal values.”
Some have said it is evidence of the increased militarization of Russia amid deteriorating relations with the West.
But supporters say the force, set up in 2015 and now numbering more than 800,000, keeps children out of trouble while fostering patriotism.
Critics have said it resembles Hitler Youth in Nazi Germany
RECRUITS aged from eight to 18 are taught military drills, how to handle Kalashnikovs, wrestling, and parachute jumping.
Russia needed to counter “separatist sentiments (and) various kinds of false information, including about the alleged infringement of the rights of indigenous peoples”, said Patrushev, painting a pictures of Russia under siege from the West and other foreign enemies.
“Examples of such subversive activity have been identified in St Petersburg and in Leningrad, Arkhangelsk and Murmansk regions,” he said in Murmansk.
Teenagers must be taught “enlightenment and formative work” in schools, he explained.
Patrushev warned that social media is used increasingly to “spread the ideas of terrorism” in Russia.
Moscow’s intelligence agencies “increasingly often identify numerous facts of financing of terrorist activity, including from abroad”.
