“The View” co-host Sara Haines commended prominent Republicans who backed out of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) during Friday’s panel.
A handful of prominent Republicans opted to speak at alternatives to CPAC rather than attend the major conservative conference, where Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump and Nikki Haley are among the many GOP members scheduled to speak throughout the weekend. Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former Vice President Mike Pence and Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin backed out and will speak at an event held by Club for Growth, a fiscally conservative organization reportedly at odds with Trump.
Haines viewed it as a positive sign that big-name Republicans are willing to “save the party” by speaking at Club for Growth rather than CPAC, which the panel alleged is becoming a “fringe” event.
“I’ve only ever heard of CPAC. To hear there’s this Club for Growth and the Principles First, which I only heard about today, I find this really reassuring, because I know you [co-host Joy Behar] make the joke about the Republican Party divorcing each other, but we begged for that for years, when we watched and said, ‘How is nobody speaking up? Why is no one saying anything? Where are the good Republicans?’ This is a sign that they are trying, that there are people trying to save the party that is conservative thoughts, conservative-minded people,” Haines said.
“But DeSantis is also going to go to Club for Growth,” co-host Sunny Hostin pushed back.
“It’s more the fact that if you’re pulling the Republican minds to different places, you are showing that there are going to be some places, like this Principles First Summit … that there are people that are saying, ‘No, we are going to speak up, because this is not who we are,'” Haines continued.

Notice the language, basically anyone with conservative values is destroying the country, the party needs saved from people who believe in tradition values.
Club for growth is GOPe, all about crony capitalism
Strike one, strike two and strike three.
Screw the party.
Save the republic.
Fringe event? That describes The View.
Carrying out the globalist agenda for America and
living in fear of being called "racists" by Democrats.
That's what good Republicans are according to the
Media/Democrat Party/Globalist overlords of the USA.
I see Haines is promoting the Uniparty Republicans. Conservatism is based on what has actually worked in the past, in stark contrast to the “hope and change” garbage of the Obama/ Biden era.
So the GOP Elite Swampsters send the Republican Party down the Drain instead of plugging that drain with Prog Socialist Democrat bodies, to Save America from going down that same Drain.
The Vile — fixed it.
Bkmk
So DeSantis has gone wobbly.
The only way for DeSantis to advance beyond Florida is with aide of the eGOP. There is no other way for him or for any of the other hangers on for that matter. Trump or bust.
Yeah, just what I’d want to be my trifecta. /s
Some View idiot has just heard of CfG and is praising it? Is it not obvious what’s going on?
Ok, if it’s not—Divide and Conquer. Get it now?
Has Trump learned his lesson not to appoin5 Globalists and traitors everywhere? Will he a profile for liking a post that called him the king of Israel? Will he ever junk his ego?
Club for Growth is pure establishment. That’s a stain on DeSantis.
Club for (Globalist) Growth
No thanks
Republicans never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity. I actually think they may all be imbeciles. They have the strongest President in decades ready to fight the fight against the Swamp that stole it from him…and what do they do? They run out the second string to be destroyed by Trump and the Dem media mafia. It’s quite clear to most of us now……imbeciles.
