“Forbes” says that Russia taking Bakhmut is a sign they are about to lose the war.

This is the level of propaganda, misdirection and sheer stupidity Americans are subjected to now by our deep-state/corporate media.

Ukraine's army of 600K has been reduced to 200K. Russia started with an army of 200K, which increased to 600K, while Russian weaponry is plentiful

This is a disaster for Biden and his Cheerleaders

IMHO the real question is what the casualty ratio will turn out to be when this battle is concluded. Rule-of-thumb is that attackers take 3:1 casualties. If the Ukrainians exceeded that by a significant margin then they will have done well. This is a war of attrition. It will end only when on side has had enough.

I wonder how Russians will stand up to years of guerrilla warfare. Unless you do a Genghis Khan and kill all the males, Russia will be fighting and losing for years to come.
Their economy isn’t that vibrant. And they waste their men in combat, like they are unlimited.

So will Ukraine simply surrender, and in this unnecessary bloodbath? Time to end US funding.
