If business insider admits Ukraine is in trouble there then it’s likely almost a fait accompli
Russians are going to destroy some rando Ukrainian border region village and declare victory after a year of bungled warfare. How humiliating for a “super power” and its fellow travelers.
It was unnecessary before the Russians invaded. Once they invaded it became necessary for nation defense. Once the Russians go home it will become unnecessary again.
The Russians are not doing human wave attacks they just let the artillery clear the area then moving in.
There comes a point when you run out of men and material and I think the Ukraine is getting there pretty quick. Why don’t you try to tell us that the Ukraine drafting 16 to 60 year old is a sign of strength?
Destroying every city and town along the way of your path is a weird way to take territory. But that is what the Mongol hordes did back under the Khans. Kill everyone. That way they cannot rise up against you.

Ukraine is going to be placing 70000 new mechanized troops in the field by may.

If the Russians don’t make enough gains and if they really exhaust themselves, Those mechanized forces are going to be used hopefully for quick Ukrainian advances.
The Russians know this is coming.
I’m not sure they are even looking for a big breakthrough at this point, or they are just trying to secure the annexed territories.
The new problem for Ukraine looks like America no longer wants them to try and take back Crimea.
We also don’t know if the Ukrainians will effectively employ Western tactics.
Who are we defending our homeland against?
Russia? They are pretty busy right now.
China?
I don’t think we’ll be using a lot of tanks and javelins against China.
Are you suggesting we will be defending literal US continental territory? I am pretty sure that no country in the world has the ability to project conventional armies to the continent.

Like Rush said, I oppose his agenda and hope he fails. His agenda is not one of governing and caring for “his own fellow citizens”. For us he has a steel bat wrapped in barbed wire.
