Ukrainian commander says there are more Russians attacking the city of Bakhmut than there is ammo to kill them

Putin is being managed now by NATO. Russia is weak and can barely advance against Ukrainian citizen soldiers. Biden wants another frozen conflict and to resume his partnership with Putin on Iran, etc. The WEF/EU wants to get back to business as almost usual with Putin’s Russia. They’ll happily rebuild Putin’s military again so Russia can rape its smaller neighbors again in a few years. In the end they care about the sovereignty of Russia’s neighbors exactly as much as they do about ours. That would be not at all.

Little Big Horn took a couple of hours.

Putin has been trying to conquer Bakhmut for more than 9 months.

The Ukrainians posess the know-how to build nuclear weapons. Seems to me since the Russians have voided the agreement where the Ukies gave up their nukes then they have every right in the world to build them again.

So after Bakhmut - then what?

Is the door open to go all the way to Kiev, or will the next little industrial town 30 miles down the road be the same thing?

look at a map and you'll see what they've evolved into doing. they assault a town, city..whatever to engage the enemy and then do flanking maneuvers to allow their artillery to cut off roads and supplies to the troops.

The Ukes will dig in and "defend" but will eventually run out of food, munitions and meds.... then they Russians will just blast away and level every single building or staging area and then give them a funnel to escape and take fire all the way out to the next killing zone.

They are not going door to door and taking a city. It's just reconnaissance in force to see where the main opposition is and then just letting artillery take the fight out of the poor bastards trying to defend when their location is noted and sent back to targeting.

I figure that the Russians are going to leave a funnel open going to Khromove and back to the east.... just a turkey shoot for their artillery. If the Ukes stay, they’ll starve and die.... if they run they’ll be shelled and die.

I figure the next road that the Russians will want to control is the one between Slovyansk and Kharkiv. Just grind away with artillery, and basically starve them out. Nobody is going door to door other than to pick up scraps.

The Russians aren’t going to “take” any city... they are just laying siege and anyone that wants to stay and die can do so. It’s all about the roads from the east resupplying the troops at the front.

They’ll just get their artillery in range to deny the use of the roads and just squeeze the cities, turn the into rubble and starve them and the troops out. Look at the map and you can already see what they’re doing. The road from Kyiv to Poltava are what are allowing Dnipro and the others to supply themselves. The stuff in the south is probably just aggravating enough to hold Uke forces there protecting Odessa, Kryvyi, Mykoliav....etc but if the roads are within artillery range.. it's going to get a little froggy.

Everybody wants to know the timeline...or how long or why is it taking so long.... It will go on until the Ukes decide they don't want to die or the Russians decide they don't want to die..... with all that blood shed and bad blood between the two... I figure 1-2 years of just devastation till our "leaders" have another crisis we have to be distracted by. China, Africa, Southeast Asia... whatever... maybe even reboot the boogey men in the Mid-East.... still a lot of patriotic Americans and muslim "terrorists" that our government needs to sacrifice, eh?

They need to be a little more creative with their attacks. Try to get two or three Russkies per round.

“The Ukrainians need a commander like General Longstreet.”

Longstreet was good, but Jackson was better. And Jackson excelled at winning with odds against him. One of his more famous quotes: “Never fight against heavy odds, if by any possible maneuvering you can hurl your own force on only a part, and that the weakest part, of your enemy and crush it. Such tactics will win every time, and a small army may thus destroy a large one in detail, and repeated victory will make it invincible.” And, one of his best: “The patriot soldier, fighting for his country and his rights, makes the most reliable soldier on earth.”

The endless supply to Ukraine has drawn down US munitions stores. We're screwed if we have to defend our own homeland. There isn't more to throw at Ukraine. It will take 2 to 5 years to manufacture replacements for the depleted stores.

They are taking out logistics... the roads from the east that flank the entrenched troops are being shelled and supplies cut off.

I hope the remaining Ukrainians will be saved from this completely unnecessary war and a new more ethical government will rebuild whats left of Ukraine.

I think my son received bayonet training at MCRD in 2001. He also did the advanced hand-to-hand. His prior aikido training gave him a head start on boot camp and advanced training. He turns 40 next month. He landed at the Kuwait airport on his 19th birthday...bayonet fixed to M16.

They have to finish Donetsk first

Then Kharkiv and kherson

Just a guess is the Dnieper is the western limit

Western rump Ukraine will be what it is but it won’t be allowed to be a threat anymore on Russia’s new border

10-12 rockets

1400 rounds small cannon fire

Nice but not overwhelming

Much ado about nothing. We’ve known Ukraine would withdraw for many weeks now, and waiting until now was a delaying tactic to setup some new weapons and a new strategy. I am not looking forward to what the psychopathic war criminal Nuland or the naive and dangerous political insect Jake Sullivan are planning next.
