Is he kidding? Someone steals money from the government and more money is allocated to go after those who stole the money! There already aren’t funds in place for this to take place?

I can save them lots of time and money. Go after the government agencies and employees who illegally distributed tax payer funds to ineligible recipients. They had a fiduciary duty and responsibility to take care of the government funds they were charged to distribute.
Make them pay it back.

If they don’t try to recover the investment, would the gov’t net anything back if anyone is caught?

Amen..You have to wonder IF government employees are as reckless with their own funds as they are with OURS! We used to hear about the number of government employees who owe IRS taxes. Are we to assume they paid up or we just don’t talk about it? We hear the word “accountability” over and over every day. Where’s “accountability” when it comes to government employees?
