DeSantis is not a great campaigner...Trump is.
Trump is not a great gov’t executive...DeSantis is.
They need to combine forces. Trump as President will take on World leaders (foreign policy/affairs). DeSantis tackles gov’t reform and oversight.

I think that one of Trumpās biggest mistakes in the 2020 campaign was during his first debate with Biden. Trump completely ignored the rules and sort of went bonkers. It showed some character issues. It wasnāt a good look, and I think it hurt him with voters.
