Did the FBI get a bad rap in the wake of the raid on Mar-a-Lago? According to the Washington Post, the raid took place only after months of debate between the FBI and prosecutors from the Department of Justice. The FBI argued that a request for a full search of the property would have sufficed, according to two senior officials from the bureau.
The prosecutors wanted a raid, however, and the DoJ agreed:
"Prosecutors argued that new evidence suggested Trump was knowingly concealing secret documents at his Palm Beach, Fla., home and urged the FBI to conduct a surprise raid at the property. But two senior FBI officials who would be in charge of leading the search resisted the plan as too combative and proposed instead to seek Trump’s permission to search his property, according to the four people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe a sensitive investigation.
Prosecutors ultimately prevailed in that dispute, one of several previously unreported clashes in a tense tug of war between two arms of the Justice Department over how aggressively to pursue a criminal investigation of a former president. The FBI conducted an unprecedented raid on Aug. 8, recovering more than 100 classified items, among them a document describing a foreign government’s military defenses, including its nuclear capabilities.
Starting in May, FBI agents in the Washington field office had sought to slow the probe, urging caution given its extraordinary sensitivity, the people said."

I’m not buying it.
This is just another FIB undercover intelligence operation — intended to rehabilitate their reputation via well-placed “anonymous source” lies.
FIB are scum. There is no rehabilitation possible; the rot is too pervasive. They need to be disbanded.
Actually all of DHS needs to be destroyed. Carefully build a much smaller, much less powerful federal investigation body with strict safeguards to protect Americans. Maybe make it “intelligence only” and outsource police powers to state police.
Who are they kidding? They probably begged the DOJ for the warrant.

This article is just an attempt to rehabilitate the FBI's reputation. But I agree, they are scum. So is the DoJ.
FBI and DHS were up to something before January 6th and may use both COVID and George Floyd riots as excuses for the prep work that entrapped supporters of President Trump at the US Capitol on January 6th.
But who will confront them and hold them accountable.
The stage shows called Congressional Hearings are a farce.
OK, WAPO, so it was anonymous “prosecutors”, yeah, that’s the ticket. That way no one has to explain themselves (or show that the FBI is lying) or be forced to resign for partisan abuse of office. Why did the Attorney General let this happen — aren’t the DoJ and FBI his responsibility?
The FIB brought their HRT for security and all FIB assets came from Virginia, by-passing the local FIB offices of that AO.

Because the FBI is full of cowards and the DOJ is full of communist... it really isn’t that hard to figure out... Obama had his political appointees take permanent positions within the DOJ knowing that the the FBI would go along with “orders.” Just like the DOD poisoned ever active duty member with a shot they knew didn’t work and cause harm. Why, because at the end of the day... Obama knew most people are cowards... It is kinda how Hitler killed all the Jews... most people are cowards.

Is that the same FBI that submitted dishonest applications for FISA warrants? Is that the same FBI that spread the Russia Collusion hoax for years? Is that the same FBI that has sent SWAT teams to arrest old men with no violent history?

I think many have erred in presuming Joe Bitem has no real control over his admin. Troubling: yes; lack of personal action: no. Joe is experiencing his life long dream (after his stealing tens of millions of dollars); his dream of being a dictator and showing all these young 'upstarts' how seriously wrong they have been all these years.
This buffoon is on the verge of launching the world's first nuclear war! How proud he must be! He may even eclipse Joe Stalin's record of 100 million dead.
