I voted for Trump twice but had said early on that he needs to lose his ego and make himself more likable, rather than looking for conflict. Also opposed his nepotism with his daughter and Jerrod. In Georgia he created conflict within the R party that encouraged some Republicans not to vote because of the governor and election results. It likely cost us the Senate in 2020.
He worries me too about his ego getting in the way and sinking the ship. Here in PA his choice for NJ Dr Oz gave us John Fetterman. Trump made good policy moves but he needed to lose the ego. Too many find that likeability factor too difficult to overcome.
If it wasn’t for pResident Newsom getting to appoint several SCOTUS Justices, Trump endorsed candidates failing to win again, and Dimtards getting to cause even more destruction, I would say let Trump have the nomination, lose again, then fade away.
But face it, DJT’s disciples would rather see a pResident Newsom than him not be the nominee. So expect them to throw a tantrum and sit out the election if he isn’t on the ballot. Then with twisted logic they can say, “See I told you only Trump could win.” You have to understand that for some DJT isn’t just a candidate he’s their messiah.
