It seems as if the Hollywood elites cannot make it through one public appearance without regurgitating at least one woke talking point.
Another such instance happened at Sunday night's Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles when actress Sally Field took the stage to accept her lifetime achievement award -- and almost immediately turned it into an apology for being white.
"I was a little white girl with a pug nose born in Pasadena, California," she said, "and when I look around this room tonight, I know my fight, as hard as it was, was lightweight compared to some of yours."
Essentially, Field claimed that because of her skin color, she did not have to work as hard for her achievements as other actors and actresses who are racial minorities, making her achievements nothing compared to theirs.
Unfortunately for Field, not everyone bought into this racial self-flagellation. Conservative commentator Megyn Kelly took to her podcast to lambast Field for her "pathetic speech.

Nothing new here. Some people just cannot help themselves.
I can only hope she is flirting with some sort of dementia for her to make statements like that. For someone who needs nothing from Hollyweird any longer, it makes no sense.

The one ad or whatever it is ( PSA) I can’t stand is the “walk a mile in my shoes” one. How about you walk a mile in MY shoes. But I suppose working hard and achieving something is also racsi’ or an example of white privilege.

There’s a bell curve for white people too. I’m guessing Sally is not on the right side of that curve.
“Frog” seemed liked someone who, in the midst of love-making, would grab an apple, start eating, and then...start TALKING about when she was a kid. Sally Field seems the same.
Sally Field was never the sharpest tool in the shed.
Have to wonder how many abortions are at the core of Sally Field’s “guilt” and obvious unhappiness.

She forgot to apologize for being a woman to the trannie crowd, and for being blond to the red heads in the audience, and for being short to the taller people in the room, and for..........
Awards seem to be a place to go, not to hear people thankfully for other people’s support and admiration, but rather to hear whiny self-loathing hypocrites complain and apologize now.
That’s not dementia that’s standard Libspeak. She has always been fluent in it. Or should say, effluent.
So Megyn Kelly is slapping Sally Field around a bit. Good. Field deserves it.
But I still remember how Kelly behaved when it really mattered. During the 2015 GOP presidential debate Kelly was far from impartial when questioning Trump. So yes, Megyn dear. In your own small way you helped create this current climate.
