What “expansion” — Finland and Sweden, like the other countries, requested to join NATO.
This wasn’t like the Russian “alliances” where Russia forced other countries into a pact.
Countries can freely join OR leave NATO (remember France did that under De Gaulle).
Hungary can leave NATO if it wishes
STOP! We are sick of protecting Europe with our tax dollars and our military personnel. They do not pay their fair share. Therefore, I say NO MORE! They can protect themselves. We need to shore up our own military.
Its still an expansion whether forced or not. I’m tired of us bankrupting the US to be the world’s policeman. Europe is very wealthy - if they want to pay us to protect them they are welcome to do so but until then they can pound sand.
