A Chinese state-run newspaper issued a warning to Tesla CEO Elon Musk after he shared reporting on the U.S. Department of Energy’s “low confidence” assessment that the global Covid pandemic originated in a Wuhan laboratory.
CNBC’s Eunice Yoon reported Tuesday morning on the warning from the social media pages of the Global Times, the English-language subsidiary of the CCP-controlled People’s Daily. The Global Times warned Musk that he could be “breaking the pot of China” after the Tesla and Twitter CEO responded to tweets that asserted that the Covid pandemic originated in a Wuhan research laboratory.
The saying is akin to the idiom “to bite the hand that feeds you,” Yoon reported. Tesla has an expansive factory campus in Shanghai, and China is the electric vehicle manufacturer’s second largest market.
The Department of Energy concluded with “low confidence” that the Covid pandemic began in a Wuhan laboratory, but sources familiar with the matter stressed to NBC News that the conclusion was not viewed as hugely significant. The FBI reached a similar conclusion at a “moderate confidence” level in 2021.
The governing Chinese Communist Party has been highly sensitive to the matter, especially as it courts outside investment after months of zero-Covid lockdowns prompted nationwide protests, CNBC’s Eunice Yoon reported.
Musk wasn’t immediately available to comment.
So now China feels free to threaten US citizens and where exactly is or government on this? Guess they cannot be bothered to protect their citizenry any more.

It wasn’t a leak, it was a deliberate release. In late summer and fall of 2019 there were giant protests in Wuhan and Hong Kong. The Tiananmen Square solution was no longer viable. A giant public mass murder would destroy them financially in a way that it couldn’t have back in 89.
Their other problem is that Donald Trump was hurting them badly. They released it deliberately to demand all their people remain indoors and that killed the protest. That was why we were treated to those dishonest videos of people falling dead in the street. The American DC and Wall Street criminal class joined in the effort and it was a good way to remove Donald Trump by forcing mail in elections. That’s the entire story. It was a deliberate release to stop Chinese protest, and to kill Trumps reelection … fueled by the economic freight train he had created.

I completely agree.
They could have stopped people leaving the country, but they didn’t. They wanted this to spread. I think removing Trump was their primary objective, however. He was crashing their cash cow that the traitor uniparty had put in place by closing down the manufacturing in America and shipping it all to China.
China was being harmed MAJORLY by Trump....had to take him out, and it didn’t matter who suffered. China also had to take him out to protect the traitors who had sold out to them.
